Our journey into the cannabis industry started in 2012 when we purchased both Mary Janes Headquarters locations in Kelowna and West Kelowna. Making the transition from employee to entrepreneur was a huge learning curve and one hell of a ride. Our goal was to make the make shopping experience a fun, chilled; yet informative and organized experience. We quickly realized how in-depth the cannabis industry and its connoisseurs were! The science is fascinating and people are looking for very specific ways to indulge – not to mention the accessory manufacturers are getting pretty creative! 

As there are many different ways of consuming cannabis and our clients want good recommendations for the best-proven quality, at different price points for every one of them. We select our strains based on flavour, potency, and their ability to thrive in our sunlight-filled, 1.1 million square foot high-tech greenhouse in Delta, British Columbia. Our cultivation team has collected detailed sunlight and environmental information at this location in BC’s Fraser Valley for more than a decade, which gives us an incredible depth of knowledge to adjust our cultivation practices on a plant-by-plant basis.

We use a modern growing approach which allows for the control of heat, light, and energy the sun brings to maximize the potency potential of our plants. In this very precise environment, cannabis flourishes; sectioned into growing rooms that let us nurture plants at each stage of development differently through app-based monitoring. This way, our hands-on growing team can ensure our plants get exactly what they need to produce consistent and aromatic quality cannabis, grown with care, all year round.

Available for a limited time only. Trial No. 003 is Pure Sunfarms’ take on LA Kush Cake (Kush Mints x Wedding Cake), a popular West Coast dessert cultivar. Their growers selected this one for its spiraled and generously frosted buds, and its sweet, doughy aromas with notes of mint and black pepper on the finish. Dominant terpenes include Caryophyllene, Limonene, and Linalool. Each Trial cultivar is a chance to try fresh genetics they’re trialing in the greenhouse. Grown in smaller batches and available in limited-release drops in BC only. While supplies last.
