Hemp-derived CBD is already pricey enough, but when looking for full-spectrum, cannabis-derived CBD with native terpenes, it can add up even faster. I haven’t always had the best luck finding flavorful CBD-rich flowers, and since I prefer extracts and oils in general, I wanted to find some budget-friendly CBD concentrates here in Washington.
I found a number of products that don’t sacrifice flavor or break the bank, but these four really stood out as great buys.
Canna-Tsu Applicator by RSO+GO
- Price: $30
- CBD: 46.85%
- THC: 32.06%
- Total terpenes: 1.49%
- Prominent terpenes: Myrcene, limonene, β-caryophyllene
RSO+GO’s Canna-Tsu applicator features a golden oil extracted using grain alcohol. With over 84% total cannabinoids and nearly 47% CBD, it nails the full-spectrum aspects I prefer. It’s sweet and flavorful when dabbed at low temperatures, delivering an orange citrus taste that finishes with subtle earthiness. This Canna-Tsu concentrate is a great way to lift your mood and provide some clear, calming vibes without fear of strong sedation.

Sour Harle-Tsu CO2 Oil by Nectar Craft
- Price: $30
- CBD: 53.7%
- THC: 13%
Nectar Craft is a great brand to look for when shopping for high-CBD concentrates, though they can be difficult to find. Their Sour Harle-Tsu tips the CBD scales at nearly 54%, and the applicator it comes in makes it easy to refill reusable vape cartridges or dab directly onto your nail. When vaporized at a low and even temperature, the amber oil expresses earthy flavors accented by a honey sweetness, finishing with a touch of sharp pine. The effects are immediate but mellow, encouraging comfort throughout the body and stimulating the mind with a focused buzz.

CBD Ratio Cartridge by Fairwinds
- Price: $40
- CBD: 55.2%
- THC: 13%
- Total terpenes: 19%
- Prominent terpenes:β-caryophyllene, limonene, myrcene, and pinene
Fairwinds’ line of CBD-rich vape cartridges are available in 1:1, 5:1, 10:1, and 20:1 CBD:THC ratios. Each of their 500mg cartridges are “terpene fortified” with a proprietary mix of terpenes. I chose the 5:1 because I wanted something that was high in CBD but still provide just enough THC to emphasize the full range of cannabis’ effects.
Its flavor was surprising: fresh and minty like a mojito, with just a touch of sweetness and herbal spice. While not a natural strain-specific flavor, it was remarkably pleasant and voluminous. The high concentration of terpenes left a little tickle in the throat, and provided a calming, functional headspace. The effects are balanced, with just enough THC to let you know you’re headed down the path to comfort.

Green Crack CBD PAX Era Pod by Heylo
- Price: $50
- CBD: 41%
- THC: 23%
- Prominent terpenes: Myrcene, humulene, pinene, and β-caryophyllene
Heylo’s Green Crack CBD PAX Pod is an awesome 3:2 CBD:THC concentrate. Their PAX pods are always high quality, marked by careful attention to preserving terpene profiles. Crossed with CBD Orange genetics to temper the effects of Green Crack, this pod delivers a smooth draw and sweet, fruity flavors that remind me of fresh apples.
On the package, Heylo recommends this pod for for a date night or before you hit the gym, and I can see why. The calm but uplifting effects are focused, and amplify everything with just a hint of cerebral energy. Personally, I like to wake ‘n bake with this concentrate on the weekend when I want to be productive, but also want a little mental me-time.
