Sour Joker

8/21/2024
Smoked this one at 2:30 AM a few days ago and it took a bit to hit. I took a fat rip from a rig which usually immediately fucks me up but I had enough time to walk two blocks back to my house, turn on my TV, disconnect my PS5 remote, change channels, and hook it up to my PS3 before I even felt any effects of the weed. So it made the eventual booting of Call of Duty: Black Ops all the most special. When I booted up the game, I felt as if I should play some Zombies and given I live a difficult life of being unemployed and smoking weed all day, I went to do just that. I watched the introduction, booted up the game, and as soon as I clicked zombies, the weed kicked me and made me feel like I was in a zombie outbreak, I stared at the menu, entranced in the scarlet reds illuminating from the room while the TVs displayed what felt like never before seen footage of Zombies. Everything in their path was torn apart with nothing remaining besides the CCTV footage capturing it all and the angelic devilish song "Damned." After what felt like an eternity, I booted up the map "Five" and I had never felt so isolated in this game before. My body felt so tense but also so relaxed. The sounds of type writers and windows shattering from the Zombies attempting to break made the floor of the Pentagon feel isolated from the rest of reality. I did my usual bidding, buying the M14, going down three times on round 2, starting over, buying the MPL instead and taking the elevator near the Speed Cola machine to the War room. Being in the room made it feel like I had been here in another life. The zombies were aggressive as the rounds were progressing but even they felt distracted by the omniscience that the blinding LED lights brought. The room was lit up by nothing but sign posts, technology, and porch lights which felt dim enough that even a moth would miss it. I didn't stay in there long, just saving up 4000 points so I could take the elevator, open the door to the mystery box, and enough to buy Juggernog. It was surreal feeling but not outright terrifying until I got to the bottom floor of the labs. There was what felt like gallons of blood caking the metal walls and gradient rafter floors. The mystery box sat in the room with the pig and while he squealed in utter fear and agony, I looked through the barricade behind the Claymore's and saw that the floor had been dug up. Around the floor were body bags and in the room lied failed experiments. "That's where they bury them" I said internally before having to maneuver my way around the zombies and through a window to go purchase my life saving eggnog. While I was doing all of this, I was turning on the telephones and bought claymores for the corner near the Juggernog machine. After three or so rounds, the guitar riff sirening the Pentagon Thief. I had placed about 8 claymore's before he spawned and was completely out of ammo. I did not have enough to buy any gun that could save me and my only guns were the crossbow and Colt M1911. I either kill him or when he leaves, I'm faced with the reality that I will not survive. He looks at me, cackles in place, then sprints like a Cheetah at its prey. I see the claymore's pop off one by one and behind the smoke cloud he left behind, I hear the words "Bonfire Sale" I rebuild two barricades to full, run in there, pack a punch my Colt M1911, and activate the final phone before hearing a slots machine noise play into an Eminem song. I survived til round 29 but it felt like I played for an entire lifetime. I was having a panic attack before smoking and it was like my panic attack went away completely. I usually don't track the strains I smoke but this story has changed that. Easily one of my best smoking experiences of all time. Highly recommend.
