Big Sky OG

11/18/2023
Like many strains that I released, I received no credit for the strain, and never cared much for fame. Like raspberry OG, Original pink panther, Original blueberry pancakes, Strawberry Rhino, Jamaican fire, Berry Blast, Grape Jelly, Purple Gravity, The “champion”line of Super Silver haze and so many others… the “big sky” came from my gardens. It made its way to LA and the Sf Bay Area thru my years of wholesaling clones and flowers to the California market. Pre adult use legalization and post my families dispensary license from 2000-2006. “Big Sky” was released to the California market by me between 2007-2010. The strain was sourced from a family of multi generational growers near Helena Mt. it was their generational landrace MT. Strain.

A Therapeutic Alternative

Buyer beware 1.0 1 star In my 20 years of activism I’ve been to over 1000 dispensaries and this one stinks. Tiny lobby, poor placement of goods requiring a person to look from a distance at another persons section and ripped me off for 20 bucks. They offer a discount which was left off, when asked for it within minutes of sale was told reimbursement is impossible. Too much hassle to re ring. I live two hours away the manager tells me, oh well. I say, that might deter me from returning and his response was, if you can’t be understanding than too bad. WoW we have gone from a compassionate medical industry to, too bad screw off. I’m so disappointed for the cannabis industry by people like this. I’d say it’s all business but it’s just bad business. Even street dealers have ethics. Since the cannabis stores all have the same product your experience is based on service. If you like being treated like cattle, herded through and told to beat it when overcharged, come on down to ‘A therapeutic alternative”

Raspberry Kush

8/14/2019
This strain was originally released in 2001 to the Oakland California medical marijuana market. Razzberry Kush turns dark purple with dark red hairs. The taste is a very piney purple. This strain is originally Napalese. Some breeders speculate OG kush has Nepalese roots due to the highly similar flavors. AKA Razzberry OG.

Blueberry Blast

8/14/2019
Berry blast was originally created in Oakland California in 2000. Many clones of this genetic were sold to the NORCAL market. Genetic background is Bubbleberry crosses to J27. The taste is that of rancid blueberries to rotten milk. Berry blast has a strong uplifting buzz if you can get over the vulgar flavor. Many of our patients loved it.

Pink Panther

8/14/2019
Greetings, I created this strain back in 1999. It was released in flower form for 5 years from our licensed dispensary in Oakland California. Upon closing it was shared with the cannabis community. This clone only strain was created from Purple White Widow seeds given to judges at cannabis cup in Amsterdam mid 90’s. That Widow was crossed with a Southern California purple Afghani and Pink Panther was born. It is one of few strains guaranteed to have a deep sleepy effect. The taste is that of apricots with deep red purple hues. This strain changes color in any temperature hot or cold, darker in cold. I discarded it from my breeding program due to it’s fire retardant nature. It’s rareness make it worthy of recreating with stronger genetics. Great for SOG.

Blue Dot

5/24/2019
Ok for starters I call foul on the “Dot” story. Whether you think you are accurate, the story is not. “Farmacy” RED and BLUE,DOTS both came in eighth sized metal tins with identifying stickers saying “Farmacy” with elegant script and either a 🔵 or 🔴 on the bottom. This strain first popped up in the California east bay medical scene. It is a “Brazilian Leda Uno X Northern lights Haze” specifically Leda uno x Silver Haze. People lined up waiting for the weekly delivery. I know because I stood in that line before opening one of the first five legally licensed dispensaries in history. The grower did come from the North state and went on to open a LA dispensary called appropriately FARMACY. I believe the original strain was lost to fed raids but it has been recreated by a few people like myself. On a side note Farmacy is most famous for back pain relief, coincidentally Brazilian was used for birthing children in the river for centuries, effectively relieving laboring women’s back pain.
