This was my go to spot until today, and I was a loyalist to AZNS. Had a Darwin cartridge that wouldn’t fire, about 20% left. Thought it was a battery issue. Took the battery in and was told it was working and it must be a cartridge issue. The associate said the manager ok’d an exchange for a new cartridge if I bring it in. I told the associate I had used a fair amount and I wasn’t sure what was left. She said just bring it back, and she will put notes in my account so I don’t have to go through explaining anything when I return. Returned today. The associate today went to the back to speak to the manager and returned telling me they won’t exchange it and will offer me 5% on a new one. In the end they offered me a 15% discount on a new cartridge. I explained I felt it was poor customer service because they are 1. Backing out from the offer for a straight exchange 2. I took two unplanned trips to the dispensary because they sold me a faulty product and would have never returned today if they weren’t going to follow through with their first offer to exchange 3. They wanted to only give me a 5% discount on a new cartridge and I had to waste more time to negotiate even a 15% off offer, which I still feel is not appropriate compensation
4. The manager never came out to speak with me and three times the associate left me alone to speak to the manager in private.
Before using Darwin products I would use the NS branded oils. I frequently have problems with those cartridges dying before the oil is gone. The associates act nice when they sell saying just bring it back and we can transfer the oil to a new cartridge. On several occasions they have acted like doing that wasn’t worth their time because of the amount of oil left didn’t look significant. But oil, when not upright moves, and clings to the walls of the cartridge. You have to let it settle to really see what is left, and i paid for that; I want to use it. I feel like they make you feel your trying to get over on them or something, and as an honest customer that has spent thousands of dollars with their business shouldn’t be made to feel that way. I’m ready to consider other AZ dispensaries.
