Ruby Slippers is an indica dominant (85/15) hybrid designed and grown by a seasoned Cali veteran, and grown mainly outdoor under the perennial California sun in Mendocino County. It's technically an indica dominant (heavily dominant) hybrid, though it smokes and medicates like a balanced hybrid. Unlike the usual earthiness you'd expect from an heavily indica leaning hybrid, Ruby Slippers has a bright, fruity, zesty bouquet that is belied by a whopping 30%+ THC (with SC Lab tests to prove it) and appreciable CBD content. It also has a floral, rosy note to it. The lineage has not yet been released though, upon speculation and belief, it has critical mass, fire og, and og kush in its ancestral roots. It's a very deep, mellow body buzz and dissipates and cerebral tension/stress.

Tried Berry White OG from Central Cali - phenomenal bud. Dense, sticky, and bright/citrus-berry flavors, and balanced with light oak/earthiness. Though balance, this one tips someone more toward an indica, and leaves more of a body high, but it's also great for quelling racing thoughts, stress, or anxiety. Great strain with cool namesake too!

Excellent example of a real sativa (dominant hybrid). While not a landrace, there are very few indica notes in both aroma and impact of this. Uplifting, euphoric, and energetic cerebral high result from the cross of two classic sativas, Skunk 1 and JH.

This is real bud with true CA heritage and the aroma and burn of the flower illustrates this - the psycho-somatic impact of properly grown PBK rivals any genetically engineered strained available today on the market, recreational and medicinal. While not terribly overwhelming and physically debilitating, I wouldn't recommend this strain to a novice. First class.

Though not a fan of SFV, the classic OG Kush direct parent of this strain is immediately palpable. This is an aptly named strain that is strong and swift with its effects. I wouldn't recommend this to new users due to the combined psycho-somatic impact. But this will, for a lack of a better term, knock you on your ass. And you'll be laughing and thinking wild thoughts all the while.

I'm surprised to see this with a 4.2 rating - it certainly deserves higher. Critical Mass is a simple hybrid of two immemorial classics: Skunk #1 and Afghani, one a blend of two landraces and the other a true landrace, respectively. CM has an earthy yet colorful and citrus-infused aroma and smokes very smoothly. To me, it feels like a balanced hybrid and lacks the debilitating impact of a true deep indica, but it shouldn't be knocked for that. Its aroma is akin to that of Blue Dream, and, in my opinion, affords the user a better cerebral high in conjunction with its body buzz.

Very tasty and very powerful - and what a pedigree ... GSC (whose ancestors are Durban Poison, OG Kush, Chemdog, etc.) and Pussy Kush a/k/a Pink Panties for the light hearted. In any event, regardless of the name and lineage, this strain is a great balanced hybrid. Solid body buzz, ameliorates pain, and traces of psychoactive properties abound...

Finding a true line of Acapulco Gold is far more difficult than one would think - it's technically a landrace, and is prone to thrive outdoors. With the shift to indoor grows, this strain is loosing its heritage; however, if you find the right grower who is capable of handling this outdoor delicacy, you will not find a better sativa - pure cerebral, lucid high with moments of psychoactivity and blended with mild body buzz.

Vintage sativa (borderline landrace - it's parents are Thai and Hawaii, though most specimens now will have been genetically modified for stability and cannabinoid augmentation) that will give you a swift psycho-somatic buzz that hones in on cerebral drifting ... at the same it loosens up the body and provides a nice wind of euphoric energy. Very popular in LA amongst the cannabis hip.

If you can get your paws on this original sativa landrace hailing from Nepal, you will experience something most users, recreational and medicinal, will never experience. This is a pure sativa with fruity notes and high psychoactive potency. Moreover, it is also a parent of the infamous Chemdog (allegedly), when bred with another geographically close landrace, Thai (or Thai sticks).
