Red Dragon

9/6/2017
For those in the Bay who suffered the immense heat this past weekend, this strain allowed me to detach my thoughts effortlessly from the uncomfortable weather conditions. The flower is spicy, it tickles the sinuses and leaves a woody residue that resembles the numbing affects of clove. The feeling associated with this flower embodies a calmness that mutes external stimuli and allows oneself to be introspective. The drawbacks of this strain create heightened and sporadic bouts of hunger and lethargy, productively in all aspects suffers. It was a fun attempt to breed two Asian strains which do not really offer anything synergetic when combined.

AK-47

The AK-47 Strain can be a god send floating poignantly between a cerebral uplift and a gentle suppression of aches and worries. However, if the lineage is off balance then you get a mediocre flower at best, confused between the four parents. With the scarcity of Afghan (Indica) strains (non-bastardized), most AK-47 strains you find these days are sativa dominant because most breeders either have week seeds or are impatient in cultivating the flower and do not utilize a combined approach (indoor + outdoor grow methods vary strain to strain). I would suggest hydroponic to begin then gentle outdoor flowering, and if the seeds are legit, AK flowers are so amazing. Good for outdoor work where you need to be mentally alert, helps you push through mundane tasks, a good stress reliever and mild anti depressant. The Indica component of the flower numbs body aches and does it subtly allowing you to maintain mental focus. - Bhangi Maryada 101
