My Medical budtender suggested BCB for my sciatica, and muscle spasticity, and I think the way you can tell it's working is that you can't tell it's working, you just feel normal. Alert enough to make phone calls, chill enough to close my eyes, but it was a harsh smoke, even with the tiniest of puffs, searing heat at the back of my throat. This strain might be too mild, and too harsh, to really be worth it.

10 minutes ago was my first BK experience! First 3 puffs on my vape produced clouds, but no personal affects. I went back in for 3 more puffs, deeper ones, and within minutes I was feeling something. I'd say I feel calm, I'm appreciating myself, and I could close my eyes and drift, but I can also stay lucid enough to write. 5 stars, no notes.

Cannatonic

The description here said that the effects were relatively short lived, that was definitely not my experience! I put a tiny half of a grain of rice size of CO2 extracted oil under my tongue, it took about an hour to kick in, but then it lasted 8 hours! The effects people talk about lasted around 4 hours, but then the general pain relief effects lasted an additional 4-5 hours. It made me just a tiny bit couch locked, but in a nice way, and made me kind of classically high - chill and amenable. Unfortunately though, I did not experience the level of pain relief that is said to be an effect of Cannatonic. My body felt good, but when a muscle spasmed, or a nerve screamed, I did still feel it. It was muted, but not enough for me to say that Cannatonic is a go-to for pain. Frida, by Raven Grass is going to remain my best bud.

I am so so bummed- I have awful sciatica pain, and I have searched and searched for just the right strain to help. Everywhere I looked, people said that Frida was the bomb, best of the best for sciatica, muscle spasms, calming. Not for me; I did get some calming in the first half hour, but it went away sharply after that, and my sciatica was barely turned to a dull roar. I use a convection vape, but I have also smoked it as a blunt. I am disappointed that it didn't do the job for me, and that the effects it did have were so short lived they went away before I could fall asleep.
