Can definitely taste the Maui Wowie. The mint aftertaste reminds me of Silver Haze by Zizzle, which tastes… just like Maui Wowie with a minty aftertaste, actually. Mai Tai is a sativa-leaning hybrid, I’d say. Maui Wowie is not a pure sativa (it’s my favorite strain incidentally). I bought this at Housing Works Cannabis in New York City, produced by Ithaca Organics. Like someone else said, the high is somewhat short-lived. Also mellow enough that I’d recommend it to a novice or someone seeking relief from anxiety, or depression. 4.5/5

Pleasant and potent-ish! Surprised to see this strain has only a 4-star average rating. First smoked this in SF, got it in Golden Gate Park. A 10-minute walk to a hill at night to smoke a bowl turned into a 30-minute walk back because I kept having to stop to take breaks and brace myself against any nearby wall, haha. The current Silver Haze I have is from Zizzle, which is widely available in legal dispensaries in NYS, thank goodness. It’s good stuff.

Dear lord is this potent. Had never had this strain before (I know, pathetic), let alone an infused variety, and I was not prepared for 1) how fast and hard these things hit — yikes, cough, cough, cough or 2) how strong and unpleasant the high would be. I’ll chalk number 2 up to my own mindset and tolerance, but it was an extremely unchill experience that I couldn’t wait to end. Usually stick with sativas or sativa-dom strains, and can easily tolerate Jeeter’s infused Durban and Maui baby Js, so I was really surprised at how harsh this was, all around. Tasted brilliant as I was dragging on it unlit, but there must’ve been too much kief on the end, or something? I’ll say this for it—once my anti-anxiety sedative kicked in, I slept like a rock for ten hours straight. That was doubtless due to the Stiizy Pineapple Express. So, thanks for that.

Instant euphoria and relaxation! I bought this strain 4 months ago and don’t remember trying it until last night. One moderate sized bong rip, and I was instantly high and extremely relaxed. The euphoria came on within a couple minutes, and I had one of the most pleasurable and relaxed nights I’ve had in many months — and I am a nightly toker: every. single. night. (Usually smoke Jack Herer, or Maui Wowie these days.) With Jealousy (indica-dominant hybrid), I was really feeling the effects of the caryophyllene (zero anxiety, total relaxation), and was able to concentrate for a couple hours on several pieces of music I’ve been working on— everything sounded so amazing. A classic THC experience that, for whatever reason, I haven’t had in a long time. Took me back to my good old days of tokin’ and rockin’. I don’t see anyone else has recommended this strain for creative pursuits, but I highly recommend it for that (at least for listening to & creating music with a critical ear), for anti-anxiety, and for a good night’s sleep. But also, for the euphoria. I felt AMAZING, along with my dog in my dimly lit living room with my headphones on. Almost like I’d taken an opiate… I LOVE THIS STRAIN!

Goodness what a godsend. It’s no surprise that this strain was the first approved for medicinal use by the Dutch govt. In addition to making me very very happy and giggly and lighthearted, it also genuinely does offer pain relief. My legs were killing me after “leg day” and this strain eased the aches in my quads and glutes remarkably well. Your mileage may vary, but that’s what it did for me. The TASTE and AROMA are also top notch. Very spicy, hard to pin down. Something from the kitchen spice rack, maybe allspice. Oh and I almost forgot, this strain really did “get me up and moving” (I can’t believe how many times I’ve read that claim about various strains that did no such thing). I actually chased my dog around the house (our nightly routine, usually has to be done before I smoke). I disagree that this will keep you awake all night, but again that’s just my experience. Two rounds of this and some Maui Wowie (my number one favorite) and I am extremely ready for sleep, two hours or so later. Zero anxiety, by the way, and I’m a decades-long sufferer. I stayed away from sativa strains for several years because I had read that they can cause anxiety and panic if you’re prone to that. Completely not the case for me; what matters is THC LEVELS and terpenes. Jack Herer is perfect, just know your limits.

Been wanting to try this strain for a long time but it doesn’t ever come East. However, sellers in NYC (in our newly opened-but-still-not-open ? “gray market”) have brought the bounty our way, and now thankfully Jeeter is fairly easy to come by. I was ecstatic to find a 5-pack jar of the infused Maui Wowie babies. Aroma is nothing special—very “classic” weed smell and nondescript, like mids back in the 90s—but the high is great. Very euphoric and uplifting, permagrin on my face until I fell asleep. Plenty of giggles. No anxiety (not sure why I went through a phase of avoiding sativas for this reason—I’ve had more ‘freakouts’ from high THC indicas), but these are indeed potent. 2 hits was plenty. Love love love this brand. Also picked up their delicious Durban Poison infused babies. Highly recommended and hope they come to NY officially soon.

Wow. A bit of a creeper, I took 3-4 puffs from my mini bong, took about 8-10 minutes to fully feel it. Total euphoria and relaxation. Wonderful, one of the best and most potent strains I’ve had lately. Skunky as hell, too, in the pouch. Can feel the couch lock, expecting to sleep very well tonight. Bliss (and HUGE nugs) from Cookies Co.!
