Eric is the best bud tender! His customer service is on point and his ability to recall the details of his past interactions with customers seems to defy the usual consequences of the product he sells. The flower is reasonably priced, competitive with the best to be found in quality and selection. They are one of the first dispensaries I ever visited & still my favorite on the coast.
This is one of my two absolute favorites strains, the other being DJ Short's Blueberry. This always has that lovely over ripened tree fruit, I usually get pears, apples or even apricots. The high, is just that, you'll get high! It's very heady, very uplifting, energizing and helps to get your creative juices flowing. In light doses it can be a good day smoke, but heavier doses are best reserved for weekends or early evening free time. I find the concentrated forms the best, but the flowers are lovely too. This lovely lady has yet to do me wrong.
I liked this place, but the prices are a little high. The customer service was terrible though. I showed up to buy a deal I found on Leafly, but when I got there I was being charged twice the amount they'd listed. When I asked about the price difference, & showed them the price listing, they went & got the supervisor. He came out of his office looked @ the listing on Leafly, then told me it was a mistake, then walked back into his office, shutting the door behind himself. No sorry, no offer of a drink on a hot day, he just took 20 seconds to tell me that they made a mistake and it would cost me twice as much as I was told when choosing to go there. I will not be going back & I will be telling everyone I know about the experience. There are better places to go, with better products, prices, and service. Pass on by this place, it should never be your 1st Coice.
This is a strain that can be very strong, but unlike most sativas that I've smoked, it doesn't seem to bother my anxiety. It's very heady in its effects, which can be a good thing. But mainly it leaves my brain with problems recalling things. So, I suffer from what I call brain farts a lot. Which left my friends & I pointing out these moments by utilizing the AC/DC hook from Thunder Struck. You've been Thunder Fuck'd! ;-P
Growing up on the best coast; we here in Oregon have always had the best flower available. That's even when compared to all the variety & quality that medical & recreational sales & testing have brought! I remember when I was in high school getting batches of clone only Blueberry that were taken off DJ's own mother plant. It was a beautiful lime green, crystal-coated, dense flower that smelled & tasted just like fresh berries. The buds were so packed with tricomes, that you'd have to struggle to get the darn things off of your fingers when loading the pipe! The high is exactly what I look for when smoking flower, it just seems to slow everything down in my head. I suffer from ADD, not ADHD, so my mind never shuts down & is over-clocked to the extreme. It makes me lose focus & patience with people & tasks. DJ's Blueberry would slow down my thoughts, but not in a stupefying sense, it's more like someone just turned down the gain on my brain's preamp. It also comes with euphoria that's akin to sitting in your favorite chair, with a warm beverage, next to a cracking fire, all on a cold & stormy day! If you ever have the opportunity to get DJ Short's Blueberry... Don't hesitate, buy it, and buy as much as you can, you'll never find a better indica, period!
The inventory was sparse and the location was rough. It had an atmosphere that reminded me of the illect days of the Mary Jane. The flowers are top shelf, but between North Bend's Tax on Medical Marijuana & Stonies higher prices, it seems that my pocketbook and my principles will have to keep me out. The gentleman who were working when I was there, were pretty chill & knowledgeable. I'd hate to see them not make it because of North Bend's backwards thinking & closed minded thinking.
Vortex is definitely an apt namesake for the sativa strain, as it's high can send you, and your little dog, far out of Kansas if you are not careful. Happy, heady, creative, spacey, and potent are how I would describe this strain for me. The flowers look very skunk-like, in that they are airy or lose forming, but the skunk scent, that I'd been expecting from the looks, is tamed very successfully with notes of what tastes of lemon and mint. These three seem to form a unique trinity that just works for my palette. Which is good thing as the I found the expansion in the lungs to be very quick, which usually makes for a harsher hit and/or a cough maker, but that lemony mint twist kept it at bay for me, like a cough drop. The high is very heady but from there... Well, it's taken me on an uplifted, whirlwind of energy high that keeps you zoned out when you are doing mindless repetitive tasks or in the zone when needing to focus on a serious serious problem with dogged determination and creative approaches. But like a tornado's path of destruction that hits & destroys one house and misses the neighbor's house. Vortex can follow an energetic high with a heady mindcation to unimaginable depths of pontification on whatever flight of fancy you wish to go on or demand to be taken. It's sporadic in it's effects, but always delivers a great time.
This is a 5 Star strain, that is for sure! It seems that somehow that the Pacific Northwest gets embodied in a plant, in both the taste and high. Yet, the strain is given the namesake of Tahoe!? The taste? Well, it's the woods of Oregon's coastal mountain range. after a fresh rain in the either of the transitions between our two seasons. It's piney & musty, yet still smells/tastes fresh and clean, thanks to lemon notes. The high? It's like a lazy Sunday during the colder, wetter & more windy season. It's blustery outside, you got your super warm and cozy jammies on you and football on your TV. A fresh batch of chili is simmering away on the stove and it's filling the warm air of your little home with it's intoxicating aroma. While you stand at the window, watching branches whip and get ripped off of there trees. Feeling safe and comfy in your little haven; your little fortress from the madness of the world and it's elements; in your home. Knowing that your night promises good times to be had tonight, trading insults, telling lies & gross exaggerations & minor falsehoods with good friends & food. While occasionally watching the football game. All to be finished with a nap.
One of the quintessential dank buds that lives up to the lore. This is a true hybrid, with a high (dosage dependant) ranging from a heady, laid-backed daytime high. To a high with severe couch-lock, to the point of full on couch-melt. The kind of high where you wonder, do I have a body or am I just a head a couch? And... No matter what the answer is to that question, how long have I been watching Bob Ross painting all of those happy little trees. :-D It's taste is a mixture of citrus-woody-sweet, with some skunk'esqe notes on the exhale. It's got some minor expansion in the lungs but not so bad as to demand a cough, unless you get greedy.
Grade A Medicine for stress, pain, insomnia, nausea, and GERD heartburn brought on when laying down. A 5 star smoke for sure, but more Sativa effects (cerebral & energetic) would go a long way to making it more versatile and worthy of a 5 star+ rating. Don't bypass this strain, it has never disappointed me.
This flower was a refreshing change for me here in the boonies. A sativa flower with a flavor profile that I enjoyed!
*Just remember one thing going in. Chocolate does NOT taste like milk chocolate naturally, so don't going in thinking Hersey, but more like Baker's. I'm sure everyone can recall their own first time they eat baking chocolate. I recall that moment in my life. I was so sure that I had finally figured out the parental dark magic of reverse psychology. That my understanding of this most powerful of parent powers had forced my mother to concede her feeble attempt to say that I wouldn't like a bite of that chocolate bar! There I stood, exuding a glow that was coming from pride that my hubris had brought. I had my prize, my reward for having bested her at her own game! A huge chunk of chocolate, that seemed huge at least, when being held by my child sized hands. I couldn't wait to rub my victory in her face. The whole time smugly chuckling at her silly rule of having to eat the whole piece. Did she forget that she was talking to the slayer of every chocolate bunny that's crossed my path, what was going to make this chunk be so difficult comparison. Wow, my overconfidence had me thinking that my mother was off her game on that day, cause even her fine print details lacked the usual traps that she was so fond of. :-) The chocolate flavor here falls into my earthy/woody profiles. I still prefer the berry & citrus flavors, but coming in a close second are the earthy flavors. earthy flavors. This was a great daytime smoke with few negatives. The negatives I had seemed more like personal preferences in aesthetics. Top shelf Sativa For Sure!
