River City Phoenix is my favorite dispensary because of the relaxed atmosphere, the great selection, reasonable prices, and the incredible staff. Everyone is so knowledgeable and patient, allowing you to smell, touch, and ask tons of questions if you're a newer smoker like me :) They've never made me feel rushed and have always offered solid suggestions and given great advice and information when I had questions. I've purchased some edibles here (the Kiva 45 chocolates, which come in yummy flavors) and two different strains so far: Purple Goo, and Orgo Purple Thai. Purple Goo is my preferred of the two, and I can always count on them to have it. Greatest thing is that there's great, tight security that makes you feel safe and comfortable, and I love that they have call-ahead ordering, since sometimes it can be busy in there. Wait time has never been an issue for me, neither has being helped. Highly recommend RCP to anyone looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, positive experience when shopping for bud.

Purple Goo is great for my crippling OCD and anxiety and helps mellow me out, especially after panic attacks or a stressful day. It gives a nice, moderate body high but still keeps me functional, which is important since my panic attacks tend to happen during the day and I still have to work and be alert - though it does make me really sleepy, so I typically only take a toke or two in the day. I also love the pain relief this strain offers. As someone who typically prefers indica-dominant hybrids, I really enjoy this simple yet relaxing indica strain. Oh, and by the way - it's one of the smellier ones I've encountered, so beware of that if you're wary for pungent odors. It tastes fine, but the odor is a bit strong.

Blueberry Headband is my strain of choice. I have crippling anxiety and OCD and blueberry headband completely takes away my pains and puts me in a dreamy, pleasurable state of euphoria and mental clarity. For once, I'm not over-thinking and over-analyzing everything. Blueberry Headband is a full body high. Your entire body relaxes and feels at peace. Sometimes my muscles twitch when I'm super stoned on this, but it isn't bothersome. Everything is insanely hilarious; I'm constantly fighting back giggle-fits. And any pain, mental or physical, is completely dulled by this powerful but heavenly strain, dominant in Indica but with just the right among of Sativa. It's perfect! Too bad it's harder to find in my area.
