I tried a $10 gram of this and I was pretty impressed. Nice nug structure with dense buds that bounced back when squeezed. Mine was not purple in color but had a purple flavor to it. The effects took a little bit to kick in. I felt uplifted and was able to function without being tired. It definitely is good for stimulating appetite. It's a nice daytime strain to share with your friends.
The cut I had tasted more strawberry than OG so the taste could have been more sour for my preference, but it definitely looked great, was full of trichomes and very sticky. It had a nice initial buzz that developed between my eyebrows. After a while it mellowed into a more cerebral and creative high. More of a sativa-dominant hybrid. Not for night use.
Friendly staff, nice environment and pretty good bud quality. I was allowed to pick up samples myself and examine them without feeling like a nuisance. They display their awards but nothing of Cup-winning quality was available for purchase. Prices are the same as everywhere else. There are daily deals on certain strains. A good conversation with a knowledgeable budtender made it an enjoyable experience.
This is another great smelling and tasting strain. Smaller buds, brownish-red hairs. The durban taste blends very well with the GDP but the effects are still similar to durban poison. So, if you don't like the mental effects of durban poison, this is not the strain for you.
The sherbet definitely has that real GSC taste. However, it is not as unique as I was expecting. It's more of a GSC hybrid than its own strain. Also, I found several seeds in my batch, which was a disappointment at that price point. I'd like to try some from Cali before I really judge this strain.
