As a new dispensary, these ladies and gents are doing it right. I walked into the lobby and thought I was at a car dealership due to the cleanliness and fashionably minimalistic decor. Their couches and chairs are very comfy, and I wouldn't mind a wait there. From their parking lot to their friendly staff, The Nirvana Center is very accommodating. It seems that they have more space than they need, but I see it as room for growth. The Durban Poison I bought here was reasonably priced, but fell short of my first experience with this strain's perfectly cured characteristics in Colorado. (No fault of their own, theirs is excellent and quite tasty) This is a top-shelf dispensary in its infancy! Shoutout to my favorite smoke shop Herb 'n Legend! Their beautiful glass pipes are for sale here, possibly making this place a regular stop for me if I keep up my clumsy streak.

This energetic strain had me excited from first sight. This was my first live resin experience and it was amazing! I was impressed at first sight due to the sparkling of the golden nugget. The light gold color, and light gassy smell from the terpines told me that this stuff is absolutely top shelf quality. Using my glass straw, I dabbed just the side of the nugget and was amazed at the cleanest hit that I had ever experienced. Not much flavor, however the effects that this strain's flower have on me were amplified and I was having a wonderful time. I did not receive the heady euphoria, but an extremely uplifted attitude. I was quite chatty and social, and shortly after I became very creative and confident in the outcome of whichever project first appeared to me. I found The 710 Chronicle and rocked that crossword puzzle before moving onto a large amount of housework. Jamming out to my tunes and feeling none of the usual pains in my back, hip and shoulder I was able to dance around while I worked. I had just finished scrubbing water spots from the cabinets when I looked at the time and realized that an hour and a half had gone by in a flash! It was about 11:00 AM and I was getting creative in the kitchen, resulting in a killer recipe for “Sriracha Egg Salad” as I called it. This strain is a great match for patients of depression, chronic pain, in need of an increase in appetite, stress, or if you just need to focus on housework and get things done on your day off. Those with anxiety may want to avoid this strain, and definitely the live resin, because it can cause paranoia and greatly increase your anxieties with it's high energy level.

I could not smell much after I had taken several whiffs, but Headtrip Golden Shatter was glassy and had some really satisfying snaps to it. I loaded it and had taken my trusty glass straw/honey collector to dab at the sides. The hits were very clean and there was a mild pine taste. Within a few seconds I was experiencing a wobble to my vision, ushering in that psychedelic feel this strain gets it's name from. The sensation was pleasant and I sank into the couch for a bit. About forty minutes had passed and the psychedelia was fading more and more until the familiar dull ache returned to my neck, shoulder and hip. Round two of dabbing was a little interesting. I had just finished putting a nice glow on my honey collector and as I was about to dab a small amount. I had accidentally dabbed a much larger dose. The effects were the very same, albeit much more intense. I became a little queasy and dizzy, but that has definitely happened before when I had accidentally dabbed a big piece of High Priority instead of the little one that I was aiming for on the other side of my straw... whoops, got them both! I vomited and learned an important lesson then, as I have now. Too much, too fast could be a real damper on a fun night. The immediate effects of this strain's golden concentrate were in the forms of pain relief and muscle relaxation. I also noticed a reduction in stress, and anxiety after medicating with this concentrate. The psychedelic effect is fun and provides a great social experience while remaining mellow, relaxed and happy. I would warn the user to be a bit careful and start off slowly as it can be a real heavy hitter, or a headtrip, if you will.
