This is a review of Seed Junky's Tropical Burst flower. I crack the jar and am hit by huge tropical fruit aromas, and sweet-candy-gas notes. Tastes like a mix of the best of Cherry Trop w Zkittlez. On inhale I taste bold cherry; exhale brings tropical fruit. Maybe starfruit? Each session seems to offer a new fruit flavor, hooray! I have a couple dozen jars of different flower cultivars in my cabinet, and this is the one I'm most excited about. The energy of this flower is rad. It's a cerebral high, but very relaxed, not necessarily "active" or "focus" -oriented. I have adhd and anxiety. This flower can assist me somewhat w my adhd and anxiety, but it's not in the same shelf in my medicine cabinet as I put NF1, Trainwreck, Maui Wowie, Jack, Durban, White Widow, Chem K/CropDuster. I do feel motivated to garden, exercise, hang with family, do chores, trim flower, cook. It's generally a great, uplifting, euphoric high! 7 grams in, and I'm starting to neglect most of my other jars of flower. In fact, my jar of "Maui Wowie" by UpNorth won't open again until this Trop Burst is gone - it's just not quite as good to me. (no hate towards UpNorth, only ❤️ - just a useful reference point if you know that cultivar.) If you come across Tropical Burst, grab a jar, you'll be stoked!!

Holy Molé is more like it! I sample about a dozen new cultivars each month, and this one made my top 10 new (to me) strains of the 2023. This flower from Fig Farms has aromatic notes of banana, chocolate, and tootsie roll. The taste is a more chocolate complex, reminiscent of some traditional molé sauces. Balanced high, great for most any time of day. Very unique aromatic and flavor profiles, definitely worth picking up if you see it!

The name says all you need to know about the taste and nose. I picked up some flower from UpNorth, and it is delightful! copped it to get through the holidays at the inlaws. I have social anxiety, and also just discovered I have adhd. Sour Zk was a go to for afternoon sessions to keep my spirits up, stay present with the family, and generally enjoy the holiday week. Great flower, amazing nose, taste, and high!

I grew two of these from clones outdoors. They turned out pretty well. I didn't have it tested, but I would guess Limonene, Linalool, Caryophyllene for dominant terps. The lavender-lemon combo tends to target my post-work stress really well, helps me unwind. It stops short of any sedative effect for me, but a great happy hour - after dinner range tool to relax. I also grew White Runtz that year, and the terps/flavors/effects were of a similar nature.

Holy Grail feels like a warm snuggy fresh out of the dryer, gently caressing your weary body and mind at the end of the workday. Lemon, earthy, kushy taste. Relaxing, stress-relieving smoke for maybe happy hour through dinner? Not quite strong enough for me for nighttime, I need something more sedative for my insomnia.
