The high on this one creeps up on you, but if you can manage a few good coughs, it seems like it sets in quicker (as well as giving a hint of whiskey on the cough). Very mellow-yet-heady sensation, but I find my muscles get restless if I smoke and try to sit on the couch - excellent for a Saturday evening out, or for a backyard BBQ.

This is an extremely Sativa-feeling hybrid. The onset of the high is slower than other strains I've encountered, but sets in quite nicely with a euphoric, happy high - I felt like dancing and cuddling at the same time. Great recreational strain, but didn't do as much for my back pain as Lemon G or Blueberry. The flavor is nothing remarkable to me, but it does smoke remarkably smooth. Very pungent after grinding, the buds were cured just right for rolling. Great for a relaxing, productive afternoon when used in small amounts relative to your tolerance, and even better for nights in higher quantities - those Indica effects kicked in an hour after a large bowl, and left me in a very relaxed state. A bit pricey normally, if you can get a good deal on it then White Slipper is a great strain for mellowing out.

The selection and prices are set up so that you can get a good deal on non-top shelf, and the budtenders are highly knowledgeable about what works best for peoples' needs. The edibles selection is on par with what you'd find in Colorado, and my neighbor always brings home quality concentrates from Magnolia. The design of the dispensary is Spartan compared to other spots which doesn't affect the quality of the bud, but it is a spot for improvement. Overall, if you're on a budget or you're looking for something high quality and different, this is the place to check out.

I purchased a CBD-rich variant at Terrapin in Boulder, CO. So far, this has been the most effective treatment for back pain I have experienced when I remember to stretch in the morning! The citrus scent with hints of spice and sweets hits your nose the second you open your jar, becoming more overt after the flower is well-ground. It's a very smooth smoke, easy to inhale while down with a cold. The taste reflects the smell, with a good citrus taste true to its name, shifting to a pleasant hint of leather at the end. The high is extremely heady and giggly, and overall positive and euphoric. It keeps me high longer than I like, so this is a good smoke to have recreationally before going out. Medically, it serves great pain relief and will keep you relaxed and loose if you're just planning to lounge around at home. Overall, would recommend for both medical and recreational use!

Decent strain for back pain, but I never got the couch lock sensation everyone else raves about. I'm sure it's there if I smoke enough, but I try to keep my tolerance low by smoking small amounts. Anyways, I got a little paranoid every time I smoked it, like shadows moving and stuff, but I've had a few good giggly highs with it too. Overall for Nevada weed, not too bad, but if you're like myself, keep trying different strains until you got one you're comfortable with.

I finally broke down and tried the Willie's Reserve Sour D. I ground a gram for my friends and I, and I only smoked maybe a quarter of that before I started getting really heady. My neighbor was working on his new moped, and the red and chrome on it almost looked like a Norman Rockwell painting had come to life. The duration of the high was astounding for such a small amount of flower, I didn't feel straight again until about 5 hours after smoking. Amazing for warm sunny days and watching your friends work on classic vehicles. Branded weed seems like such a scary concept, but I don't think old-school smokers like Willie Nelson are trying to lead anyone astray here. In the age of legal cannabis, puffing away at your favorite strain may be the new "having a beer," but Willie's Reserve (as far as branded weed goes, anyways) is the new "$100 bottle of scotch."

Terrapin in Boulder is always busy, which speaks volumes of the quality of their service. The buds are always fresh, and they let you inspect the buds they're selling you, which goes a long way to build trust with me. I've seen lines as long as 35 people, but they still managed to get me into the bud room within 10 minutes of checking in. Their selection is on-par with the quality I've come to expect from Boulder, with a few things that are unique to this store that I keep going back for (namely the Lemon Sweet Skunk, which I've only seen at Terrapin so far). I hope Terrapin continues to stay in business for years to come!

Solid customer service in the front and back rooms. They were quick to get me into the store, and they let me take my time with my purchase. Great selection of flower and edibles, and a very professional, relaxing atmosphere makes this a must-see among the many quality dispenseries in Boulder.
