Earth's Healing South

12/15/2014
I use Earth's Healing for about 90% of my medications. For the other 10% I like to visit some of the other dispensaries in town. What keeps me coming back to Earth's Healing are the cordial & knowledgable staff (I usually see either Thomas or Cortland), the excellent selection of flowers, and the quality of flowers. Secondarily, I like the rewards program and the frequent specials that Earth's Healing offers.

Tucson SAINTS (Southern Arizona Integrated Therapies)

8/23/2014
This was my first visit to Southern Arizona Integrated, although I have been to almost every other dispensary in the Tucson area. Southern Arizona is a top flight operation, from the very visible security guard at the entrance, to the internal atmosphere, knowledge and service quality of the staff, and not least of all, the quality of the flowers. It was a very pleasurable experience from start to finish, and I would put SAIT at the top of the list of Tucson dispensaries. Many, if not most, of the flowers on the menu are produced at the dispensary's own grow operations. Judging from my purchases today, I would rate the bud tenders at the grow facilities as very proficient. SAIT will certainly get a lot of repeat business from me.

The Nirvana Center - Oro Valley

This was my first visit to Catalina Hills. Being a 15 mile drive, I ordinarily would drive this far, but several MMJ patients that I know highly recommended the dispensary. They were right to do so. I went looking for a specific indica that was on the menu. After talking with Sue for awhile, she steered me to a little known strain (Ingrid) that turned out to be perfect for my needs. Sue took a lot of time with me, which I really appreciated because I'm relatively new to MMJ. The environment is very calm, relaxed, and professional. Despite the distance I will come here again.

Nature Med (Med/Rec)

Wonderful staff and environment. The medication that they offer is probably the freshest that I have found in Tucson so far. Also, the staff was very knowledgeable about which strains would be best for my particular condition.

Kosher Kush

Kosher Kush is a pretty heavy indica that has a very relaxing and sleep inducing effect. I find that it completely relieves my night time leg spasms and lets me get to sleep quickly. I don't know that I would recommend it for daytime use because of the drowsiness that it produces. But for pain relief and as a sleep aid I have not found better.

Blue Dream

5/2/2014
Blue Dream is a bit light in terms of wallop, but it is the most uplifting, happy, and calming bud that I have used. Activity and energy level are quite high with BD, and it has very little sedative effect. I agree with other reviewers that BD is a good daytime medication when you may not want to have your head hammered. It is a gentle strain, but an excellent mood elevator.

Blue Dream

I am a new patient and this is the first time in 45 years that I've used cannabis. So, almost totally new to it (again). Once I remembered how to light the bowl, the first hour blasted me with psycho-actives. I had forgotten about that stuff, and it did produce some dizziness and a sense of imbalance. By the end of hour 2, the phycho-actives had pretty well dissipated, and the feeling was a relaxed body sensation. I guess that's the indica component. This first time out I smoked only 0.1g, having read much about the relative potency of modern medical cannabis. Glad I kept to a small portion. I think there is a degree of learning involved. My medicine is mainly for nocturnal leg muscle spasms that make things pretty uncomfortable trying to get to sleep. I'm not sure that Blue Dream will be the best for that. My evening try tonight will be Kosher Kush which is much heavier on the indica, and reportedly a better muscle relaxant/sleep agent. . I might continue a daytime session of the Blue Dream over each of the next few days to see if affects my mild background depression.
