Bubba Kush

10/25/2016
Bubba Kush from Canna farms: After reading the great description and positive reviews I was stoked to get my hands on it, but honestly I was very disappointed once I did… This strain looked and smelled very basic, nothing of special note, very pedestrian. I understand that the true origins of this strain are unknown and I believe it. They call it an Indica hybrid, but I would say this has a very high Sativa ratio in it. Normally I take a nice sativa like Sugar Punch or Northern Lights to help my mood, and a potent Indica like God Kush, or Girl Scout Cookies for my severe chronic pain, but Bubba didn’t cut it in either department, it didn’t help my mood and only managed to take a slight edge off my pain. So basically Bubba Kush isn’t good as a Sativa or as an Indica Overall I was left disappointed with the results I got from this strain. I would not recommend and I will not buy again

GSC

This review is for the strain known as "Girl Scout Cookies" which comes from Canna Farms in British Columbia Canada. This batch punches in at 25.9% THC! (This was my first time ordering from Canna Farms) For those of you who are familiar with my reviews, you know I'm a big fan of how my medicine smells and I can sincerely say I’m very pleased with how GSC smells. This is the first bud that I've encountered with such a flowery smell to it, it's nice, it's different than what I'm used to, but I like it. Taste wise it's pretty much the same as the smell, flowery, earthy with just a hint of sweetness near the end. (Kind of like a vanilla cookie) Very, very nice buds, beautifully sugar coated and just the right amount of sticky, they are pleasing to the eye. CSG quickly punches you behind they eyes, then steadily creeps up on you until you are swimming pain free in its cookie goodness. It worked very well for my pain and nausea, and is my new number two in my top five Indicas for pain. Slight next day sedation, but not that bad compared to some other Indica strains. I will definitely purchase this strain again and I would certainly recommend it to others suffering from severe chronic pain.

Barbara Bud

This review is for the indica dominant strain affectionately named “Barbra Bud”. The strain that I have comes from my favorite producer Broken Coast, located in British Columbia Canada and punches in with a respectable 19.2 % THC. This strain is 90% Indica. When I opened the sealed bottle I was a little disappointed at the lack of smell from the buds. Barbra only has a light spicy, woodsy smell and I prefer my buds to have a strong smell about them. I guess I view my medicine in the same way I view my food, it must start off with a good smell and have a nice visual and finally a nice taste. So any bud that has all of that AND works for my symptoms quickly hits my top five. Unfortunately Barb doesn’t cut it in either the smell or taste departments and visually speaking, despite the nice sized buds from BC, she is rather plane Jane, nothing special. At the time of my purchase money was tight and BC was selling Barb for a very low price, so I bought her not knowing anything about the strain. I suffer from severe chronic pain following a car accident and I always need to have some indica on hand as I find it the most helpful for my pain and nausea. After making my purchase I did some research on the strain and it said that it was amazing for pain… Well, I can tell you that while it did help with my pain, it wasn’t nearly as good as my top five indicas are and I was left rather disappointed. Two things I really didn’t like about this strain is the serious couch lock and the next day drowsiness. I have to assume that this is due to Barb being 90% Indica and only 10% Sativa. Don’t be surprised if you don’t get much done when you take it, or the next day after either. To help counter this side effect I mixed it with a good Sativa, Northern Lights Haze (see my review of NLH) and it seemed to help a bit, but was far from a perfect solution. I guess in the end I got what I paid for, and despite it helping my pain I will not be buying this strain again due to its severe couch lock and next day drowsiness. I will stick to the strains which range at 70-80% Indica and 20-30% Sativa.

Northern Lights Haze

NLH from Broken Coast is 90% Sativa with 10% Indica, making it a Sativa dominant strain. The one I have is from Broken Coast (The best LP in Canada in my opinion) and it hits you with a THC count of 23.4%. Personally I really like a nice smelling bud and this one doesn't disappoint. It has a nice spicy, almost fruity bouquet when you first pop the top off. The buds are big and fluffy, reminding me of most Diesel strains. Being a sativa dominant strain it gives you what you would expect. - Good for daytime use - No couch lock - Managed to get stuff done around the house - A great mood elevator - It did a "fair" job for my chronic pain. - Definitely helps with creativity. - Mostly cerebral. It is pretty strong so don't go crazy if you're new to Sativa strains and don't do anything dangerous while using this strain. The come down is gentle and subtle, a trait I personally like in a Sativa. I would definitely recommend for people who are depressed, have chronic pain, nausea, headaches. I would say it's one of my top 5 favorite Sativa strains so far.

Chocolate Berry Kush

7/2/2016
This review is for "Chocolate Berry Kush", from Broken Coast in BC, Canada. 22.2% THC 80%Indica 20%Sativa The first thing that caught my attention was the incredible smell! Wow! It was appropriately named Chocolate Berry, because that's exactly what hit my nose when I poked a small hole in the protective seal. I would have to say it is one of the nicest smelling buds I have every used. As you can imagine, I was very eager to rip open the rest of the seal so I could find out what was making this incredible smell... I wasn't disappointed. Frosty, Frosty, Frosty, these little Christmas trees from heaven were covered in winter. This is a very pretty bud, lots of sexy, curvy, perky buds pointed at my face and little, dark orange strings beckoned me like a hot woman's finger to taste them. I took a piece of this moist girl, ground her up and packed my Arizer Air... Mmm, this sexy girl tastes exactly the same as she smells! Chocolate Berry Kush... Great Smell, Great Taste, Perky and Sexy looking. - Migraines: Helped a lot. - Severe chronic pain: Very good, but could have been better. - Nausea: Works good. Special Note: This bud seems to also give you a slight cerebral effect like a good diesel would. God Kush A.K.A "Lasquati" from Broken Coast is still number one for my pain. Would I buy this again? Yes Would I recommend to others? Yes ∴
