I made the mistake of making this the strain of smoking after taking a 2 week break. I’ve been less high on dabs. Very heady and some indica-like buzzy buzz.
About 30 min before I smoked I took about 60mg of h4cbd. I’m not sure if there was some synergy there, or if I was just feeling the SG, but it was intensely heady.
I’ll give it 5 stars based on strength alone. This is a next level strain. Not recommended for noobs to bud, or if you’re just trying to relax. It only takes me one good hit to have my brain at full alert. Honestly, it’s a bit too potent for my needs most of the time, but I sure do enjoy watching my friends try taking more than a few hits. It usually takes a next level smoker.
I would characterize this strain as a clear-headed, heavy indica.
One solid hit and I felt the effects creeping in over the next 5 minutes. Somewhat euphoric and body/head buzzy, lasting about an hour with full effects, and almost back to baseline after 90 minutes.
Very relaxing and eventually sleep inducing.
Good for:
-Relaxation
-Sleep
-Appetite stimulation
-stress
-Doing nothing in particular
Not good for:
-Using heavy machinery
-mental focus
-solving problems
-any task requiring more than 5 minutes of effort
This is one of those "living in the moment" strains. Your short-term memory will become even shorter to non-existent.
1/2 Cherry Pie, 1/4 Mexican Sativa, 1/4 Industrial Hemp. This strain originated in the upper Midwest using hemp for two reasons: 1) To acclimate to shorter summers and cold evenings, and 2) to increase the CBD content.
I've tried this strain at two different harvest times:
Early harvest (mix of clear and cloudy trichs): Much like a mid grade sativa- uplifting, happy, creative, energy and focus
Later harvest (mix of cloudy and amber trichs): Resembles a mellow indica- relaxing, mostly clear-headed, pain relieving, appetite stimulating, followed by downright drowsiness.
This is an excellent strain for lower back pain, and other joint/muscle aches and pains, and insomnia. 1-2 hits and it's almost pure medicine; it knocks out the pain leaving you painless and mostly clear-headed and functional. 3-4 hits and it's in the recreational zone- body buzz, euphoric, giggles and munchies. At higher doses it can become heady, possibly causing mild anxiety/paranoia and possible "greening out".
Tahoe makes me feel uplifted and happy at first, then around the 30 min mark my eyes are impossible to keep open and I'm struggling to stay awake. At this point I feel very disoriented and it's bed time.
I enjoy this strain, but it's evening use only for me. Sometimes when I wake up in the middle of the night I'll hit it again and back to sleep I go.
Got this one from The Farm in Boulder.
I paid $14 for a gram ($17 w/tax).
Nothing special, really. I felt relaxed and only mildly buzzed after 10 or so hits. There was a mild head buzz and zero anxiety.
This would be a nice comedown strain for those who accidentally got too high on other strains, and for salads for those who want a mellower high than high thc strains provide.
In other words, far more medicinal than recreational. This strain won't get you high.
This strain is a nice pick-me-up. In lower doses I feel creative, uplifted and stimulated mentally- like caffeine but even happier (and it does pair well with caffeine). In larger doses I find it makes my thoughts wander a lot, and makes my body buzz with an almost narcotic effect.
I use this strain for depression, caffeine crashes and doing menial tasks like cleaning and dishes. Makes down time stuff like listening to podcasts and playing video games a little more fun. Also has positive effects on libido.
Starts off with a mellow, clean high and within minutes comes the body buzz. The high is mildly heady and heavy-headed, the body buzz is long lasting. Low anxiety. Best smoked an hour or so before bed. Pairs well with cocktails.
Woody is a potent, heavy indica and a creeper that shouldn't be underestimated. Everything's cool for the first few minutes, then you're hit hard and in a foreign place. It's good for pain and sleep (if you don't get too high), but I don't find it particularly euphoric. Makes me quiet and introverted. Strong medicine but not my favorite strain. My first impression was "Jesus Christ, was this shit laced?"
