The draw on this (via water-pipe with ice hold) was very smooth. Even though BC as primary terp, I found this sweeter than your more typical peppery hit. Slight hop taste. It honestly feels a bit like you've had a brew. I know, says the yahoo that's been bottle free for 10 years... but you NEVER forget that... This one hit's you behind the eyes. very relaxing, a tad intoxicating, but overall VERY relaxing. It's probably more of a velcroe'd, sleepy heavy type head/body highs... and I'm a daily smoker. So this one might be a touch heavy for newer users, but by no means a bad trip. It's just heavy on the eyelids. Slight body tingle and more of a body relaxation than buzz, if that make's sense. Like. I'll be able to push through and watch some SNF, but that's about it. FAR more sleepy than trippy. Heavily recommend for relaxation, PTSD, Stress relief and as a sleep aid. Fellow vets would likely appreciate this one. I gave this one a 3, not because I don't appreciate the high, nor the smoke experience. It's just fine! and that's more the point, I suppose. It's good, but it is by no means quite memorable. Like... I smoked Maui Wowie one time and I saw friggin' Andromeda...they have giant friggin' flourescent green space squid just makin' they're way across the night sky, like... which was pitch purple, not black... and the planets were all like... this flourescent color marble in the sky type feeling... This one, however, feels like I've probably had one too many at the bar, or somethin'. But I'm just one random idiot on the internet who, again, smokes daily (and multiple times daily, recently) so... grain of salt. This could still be YOUR trip to Andromeda!

I FINALLY got my hands on some Sour D. Had a co-worker rant and rave about it being his fav strain growing up. I want to say that this is a tough smoke for my pallet. I typically like spicier, BC heavy strains both because I like that small peppery shot on the the first rip... but this one the taste lives up to the name... It's diesel-y, and sour on top of the pepper. It's honestly a tad on the yuck side for me. That's why no 5th star. Beyond the taste... I can see why he called it an "ideal strain". I'm well lit, but not completely floating... and I'm well body buzzed for comfort and relaxation... but not SO much that I'm velcroed... EXCELLENT high. Hit's you more behind the eyes than the head, so relaxation heavy, less stimulating. The body is just ever so softly buzzing. My limbs are lose, but I'm by no means DRIVEN to chores. Maybe that comes after the peak? All in all, this is a dope strain. Very similar to the way Purple Haze and Pineapple Express give you that buzzed body-losened limbs and slightly drops the shoulders. I'm more in the mood to cut on some music and cut a rug than to get cleaning... excellent vibe for a Sativa. Just...HEED the name if your pallet is like mine...not quite top 5... might crack my top 10 SATIVA strains. VERY good, but not quite memorable.

So, I'm trying WC from a different method. Instead of emptying the joint into my bowl, I grown this one up myself and it was CAKEY! Needed to grab one of those plaquers, you know, whith this toothpick you can break off? Yeah... needed THAT bad boy to clear the herb grinder... and those nugs were a bit white, almost like they were frost tipped, so I knew it would be STICKY! And these nugs were primo... not the trim! I ground about 3/4 of my big boy bowl (1 step up from a generic bowl). The hits are a bit sweet, almost like drinking some hot sweet tea (I'm Texan, and I can't tell you enough why this dropped the review to a 4... TLDR it's supposed to be ICED!), but that doesn't mean that won't work for you, so take my pettiness with a grain of salt. BEYOND THAT! SMOOTH draw... absolutely smooth draw, barely any cough at all! Just an overall good experience on the smoke itself. I PREFER more of that Beta-Caryophylene peppery hit in the draw, but that's a ME thing. THE HIGH ITSELF! This is a wonderful strain. Where it lacks for me on the flavor, it MORE than makes up for in the ride (though the coughs are coming an bit late now). The ride is JUST as smooth as the smoke! I tend to have a mild breakdown when I hit a little too much sativa, but there's not much of that kush rush... just a smooth, head high all around! VERY relaxing head high! As is the body high! It's not terribly velcroe-y. But it IS more on the intense relaxation side of things. This is probably a glass of wine in the late evening types/bedtime brew for the newcomers type of strains. It gives off wrapping yourself in your warmest jamies on the couch under you BEST blankey with the cat puring in your lap while you CRUSH a slice of some wedding cake next to a raging fire that your just built for your new wife on the 4th night of your honey moon vibes. And YES! The cat DOES go on the honey moon with you love birds. :D I'ma go lie down now...

WOW, so... ok. This one is a. smooth ass, WONDERFUL high! My limbs are buzzing, thank you GOD for beta-caryophylene! But the myrcene keeps this high, while heady... we'll get there, but the myrcene keeps this ride JUST shy of getting to be too much to handle. Like, my body is buzzing well, but smooth, if that makes any sense. It actually drops the shoulders a bit. It just feels, fantastic throughout the body! Head high gets a bit balloony, but there's no after-rush of anxiety, really. It's more creative inner imaginations. It's got me focused on some Skyrim for sure (well, that's the plan after this). The peak is wholly arresting. We're talking mothership called the head to look STRAIGHT up with your eyes closed, head in the haze high! But that myrcene counters the Limonene JUST eneough to keep this bad boy from riding the dragon! It's wonderful! It just moved to number 2 on the Sativa list (Maui Wowie being my all-time). Bravo to the bud gods! SCUSE ME, while I kiss the sky!

I've been smoking this strain a bit recently using pre-rolls. After a week of daily use, I loaded up a half bowl into the bong. I fully reiterate (assuming the previous reviews are live, not sure how leafly handles that) that this is NOT a beginner strain. I consider myself a "Big Boy", and this bud had me full on neanderthal lock-jawed mouth breathing pinned to the recliner. Absolute face-melter. You still get that kush rush, so it does lessen the experience for me, but that could just a me thing. You might like the Kush Rush. Besides that, this one is incredible. My arms felt like the marshmellow man in Ghostbusters. Absolutely arresting. Fantastic bud! Great for stress, anxiety, sleep, sex. Again, this one might be a bit MUCH if you're just starting out.

Both the flavor and the effects are fairly understated, but not in a bad way. This is a pretty gentle strain. Might be a really good introduction strain for new users. Smell, Taste and Ride are all on the mellow/mild end. Really good for social situations. Slight body tingle.

I'm not sure if I just got a "bad batch" taste-wise, or if just my palette, but my pre-roll had a HEAVY ammonia flavour to it. It honestly overpowered the citris, and I tasted no berry at all. Flavour was just not there for me on this strain. Again, in all fairness, my palette might not be the same as yours. Otherwise, the ride was dope. Nice relaxing head high, right behind the eyes. Full relaxation through the limbs. It makes up for the taste... especially at the peak. That behind the eye high shifts to full on balloon head tranquility. Body high is very lose and simultaneously velcroed. I'm only 210 lbs but I kinda feel like the Michillin Man from how the body high numbs the limbs/how your body feels when you been in water so long you no longer feel it. My shoulders fully dropped for the first time in a few weeks. The peak doesn't last for too long. So this might not be the best for sleep, per say, but much more suitable for prayer/meditation. Great Ride. Disappointing Taste. Side note, my use has been daily as of late, so, those effects might be more pronounced if your tolerance levels reflect a more periodic use, as versus daily.

I tend to lean more Sativa Hybrid in my preference, so this smoke is a touch on the heavy handed side in my opinion. That doesn't mean bad though. It's pretty potent, not quite spaceman potent like Skywalker or G13, but it'll easily loosen your whole self up. I find it more of a recreational high, but it could easily be used for anxiety, just don't overdo it or you'll shoot yourself in the foot. Not a favorite, but it'll definitely be in my rotation moving forward.

By no means a new favorite or anything like that, but still an interesting Indica for sure. Smooth smoke, and really smooth, mellow high. Not heavy handed, not unbelievable...just... fine. Like, if we're using the Baby Bear's Porridge as a gauge for the sensation intensity, then I'd say is a little on the colder side of the baby bear's porridge... the vibe is very much "this is fine". More refreshing than couchlocking. I'm able to either sit still without worry, or do necessary tasks. Fairly versatile Indica. Not bad at pain relief. And I'm no doctor, but the claim of helping with inflammation might be worth considering from my perspective. IBD patient, and this strain has been decent for that as well. I would still recommend Rainbow Sherbet 25, especially for any GI discomfort, but Donny Burger hasn't been bad for that either... 7/10, no complaints, smooth smoke and high.
