Frozen Budz

9/16/2017
I am a born and raised Alaskan for 50 years and I believe Frozen Budz to be the highest quality dispensary in Fairbanks. I have been to Colorado, California and Oregon dispensaries and sampled product around the world and the owners, staff and suppliers are of the highest quality.

Haze

I was introduced to Haze Alaska style and it blew my mind. They call it Nikiski Haze and it is an independent grower from the lower Kenai Peninsula in South central Alaska. I was stunned by the long lasting up front explosive euphoria and then settling into a tingling uplifting body high that kept me up and going for 6 hours on 2 bong tokes. Happy carefree and most importantly virtually pain free for most of the day. One of the best strains that had never tried and if there are others out there who can improve upon what I got to sample here in the Great Land I look forward to trying it someday. I would recommend this strain for anyone who is wanting to lift their spirits and motivate themselves to get up and get going and have a happy stress free day and the added benefit at least for me was pain and inflammation reduced to nearly non-existent symptoms at least for about 4 to 6 hours and I have severe degenerative arthritis. This is in my top 3 now after smoking for over 35 years. I would buy a ticket and fly to Alaska to try this if it was guaranteed this good if I had never been here in my life and lived in Miami Beach. It is really good.

Alaskan Thunder Fuck

i just wanted to let you know that MTF never was a specific strain. MTF was instead a combination of 3 different homegrown varieties in a joint and people used to have these joints prerolled for parties and get togethers. I was born and raised in Alaska, 49 years and I have listened to this garbage about MTF for years and it is about time the record was set straight The first strains I ever came across were Northern Lights#5 as well as Silver Haze and White Widow was and still is one of the best I have come across here in Alaska. There is a wide assortment of strains now and because of Alaska's relative remoteness early on in statehood people began growing and experimenting and some of the most devoted and skilled growers I know are from here in Alaska. I know one of the original families that began growing in the Matsu valley and I can assure you MTF is a dream made up by greedy dealers and it is much more mind blowing to mix 3 potent homegrown strains in one euphoric symphony. The original so-called MTF was always described as covered in red hairs and sticky with very transparent crystals so it never had the frosted look instead a much darker and piney skunky aroma. So please don't rate Alaskan strains by this so-called imposter in the world of good smoke. It may after all be a good strain with a stolen name but there is far better growing in the homes of individual smokers here in Alaska.

Haze

I recently came across an Alaskan take on Haze called Ni kiski Haze and it blew my mind.. It was so overwhelmingly euphoric and then relaxing as the body high took over. It felt blissful but it was not get up and go bud. It is excellent if you want to melt happily into your sofa and watch a movie or listen to some good times. It worked well on pain as I have severe arthritis and it didn't make me raid the fridge. I wasn't sleepy, just completely relaxed and happy. If you are ever up north, we know a thing or two about the green.

White Widow

After reading the last review by DogWang or whatever he calls himself, I was prompted to respond. First I would like to point out that the process of growing is not an exact science. So blame the grower not the strain. Secondly, every human reacts differently to certain attributes or weaknesses in each strain of marijuana. Our physiology is unique to each individual so we all have different tastes and preferences and preexisting biases to all we take in for the first time. I have been smoking bud for 35 years in nearly every state and in 3 countries. By no means is white widow the best I have smoked. It is however when grown with LOVE and KNOWLEDGE and more LOVE it has been the most consistent in giving a very nice head high and then settling into a long lasting euphoria, but not so euphoric that you can't get stuff done. It is also a most beautiful frosted bud and deserves a 10 when manicured and presented properly. I have found that people who really make the best judges of marijuana are those of us who do not smoke as often as possible or as much as we can just to be blasted out of our gourds. I consider myself a good judge and I only ask that you judge the grower and not the strain. Also take it easy, when trying a new strain, clean your utensil and taste and ENJOY.
