I got the balm for my arthritic, painful fingers and hands. Since it was delivered from Tallahassee to me (4 hours), it was really oily when it arrived which was ok, I guess. I slapped some on my hands, rubbed them together and then sat back and waited for it to do its magic. About an hour later, I noticed that the tingling in my fingertips was gone and my fingers were more flexible and the pain was less so I was very happy! The next day, however, I went to put some on and it was no longer melted. Now it was a really thick wax. The base is coconut oil and if you know anything about coconut oil, you know that coconut oil starts out as a solid and heat melts it. That is why when it arrived it was super oily and the following day it was back to its original coconut oil form which was hard. I don't like it that way. It's very hard to get any of the balm out. I have to use my fingernail and scrape a sliver or two off and that's a pain in the ass. It still does work but I'm not a fan of how difficult it is to apply and the smell is not good. It smells like dirty soil. Not that good, dirt smell .. Just dirty dirt. I won't be buying it again.

Definitely gives me energy. Not like a full Sativa strain, but enough to get me up and moving. Btw, it's also called "Hydra" by Fluent Dispensaries, which was confusing as hell to me when I first began my MMJ Journey. According to Fluent, they are trying to get away from the lazy, couch potato Stoner image associated with cannabis so they are renaming their products to make them sound a little less stone-y.

Their product is fine. I don't have issue with their product. What I have issue with is their discount for veterans. They only offer a 10% discount for veterans versus the other dispensaries which offer anywhere from 15 to 25% discount for veterans! I think this is pretty crappy since these same veterans fought for this country and our freedoms which allows us to have medical marijuana. The veterans (and their spouses and dependents) need this cannabis and often times they cannot afford it so every little bit helps. Even an extra 5% off of their puny little 10% discount would be a huge help to some families I'm sure! When they change that, I'll change my review.

When they were Knox dispensary, the staff were incredible! They were very helpful, very kind and very knowledgeable! And that was extremely important to this newbie to the MMJ world! Once they changed to Fluent dispensary, IMO, the quality of the staff has diminished. I also do not like that they have changed the names of all of their strains. Their rationale for doing so is to try and change the stigma that has been attached for so long to cannabis. So, for example they call Jack Herer strain - HYDRA; and the Blue Dream strain, they call Baldor. This was incredibly confusing to me as a new cannabis user. I was trying to compare apples to apples and the rest of the cannabis dispensaries seem to have "apples" and Fluent had "oranges". It took me weeks to figure out that Subra was the same as Sour Diesel. Very frustrating! Also, and this really irritates me, is they have some promotional gimmick where however much product you purchase, you get points for those purchases. Those points can eventually be redeemed for product or merchandise. First of all, they didn't even offer or tell me about this particular program. I had to find out on my own and then ask them about it and then they had to sign me up. To make matters worse, there is no way for you to see the amount of points you've accumulated like via an app for your phone or even a website. You are at the mercy of be fluent employees and they don't always know what the hell you're talking about! So I would think that they need to do a little more training with their employees! I also wish they could make it where we could see our points. I actually emailed the company that handles the point system and was griping about how I did not get my discounts for my birthday month and what I got in return was an email showing how many points I had. There was no explanation with it. No breakdown of how the points where accumulated nor how they were spent. I have no idea whether or not I got the credit for my birthday points and eventually I'm going to have to call and have an extensive conversation with them I'm sure, but honestly I'm just not up for it right now. So that's my beef with them!

First of all I have to say that I got this from fluent dispensary and they are trying to get away from the stigma of cannabis being related to a bunch of Stoners so they've renamed their products. At Fluent, this is called Polaris. This was confusing as hell for a newbie when I first started out and it took me months to figure out by Polaris and Granddaddy Purple where the same thing! Regardless, it was recommended to me to use this to help me sleep since I have insomnia. The first week I used this, and I used the tincture that you put under your tongue, it worked like a charm! I slept so good! Better than I have in years! But then it didn't necessarily stop working, it just didn't work as well. I find it hard to believe that I'd built up a tolerance in a week but again, I'm pretty much a newbie so that could be the case. The first week or so I used it, I got about five uninterrupted hours of sleep each night, which in and of itself is a miracle! Since I haven't slept that many hours in a row since I was probably a toddler and I'm 56 years old now. After the first week or so, I was lucky to get 3, maybe four hours of uninterrupted sleep. I still consider that a good thing since my normal sleep pattern is about 2 hours of sleep and 2 hours awake. As far as the high goes, there really isn't one for me. It's probably because I take the drops before I go to sleep. I noticed no hangover whatsoever in the morning nor do I feel high in the morning. I'll tell you an interesting side note and that is I have very bad arthritis in my fingers and hands and lately I've been experiencing tingling on the tips of my fingers on both hands. I had a very expensive cream from fluent dispensary, $100 for 2 oz! I had run out of that cream (which actually worked!) but there was no way in hell I was going to spend $100 on another 2 ounce jar of cream so I decided to use this tincture on my hands. I filled the dropper to 0.50 dropped it on my hands, rubbed together for about a minute or so and then added some lotion to kind of soak up the oil from the tincture. Holy cow! Works like a charm! It worked actually better than the cream from Flunt dispensary. (I'm not sure if we're supposed to be mentioning other dispensary names so I may get bleeped or deleted but I think that's kind of an important thing to know). Bottom line, as a tincture for relaxation and or sleep I think it's wonderful! I think it doubles really well also as and alternative to hand cream to help with arthritis and or swelling! See ya.. I have been told this a 75% Indica. just saying..

I would really like to give this 3.5 stars but Leafly won't let me so.. Here are my pros and cons. Firstly let me say that I am a 56 year old. Lady that has chronic pain, ADD, depression, bipolar disorder and a slew of osteoarthritis issues ranging from my feet and ankles to my hands to my knees to my back to my neck.. Basically all over! Having all of these issues it make some chores extraordinary difficult, if not impossible, to get any chores done around the house Trainwreck helps me get thru them! I'm fairly a newbie so I only take two maybe three puffs off of a 90% Vape concentrate. That is plenty for me. I'm able to not only do chores, but actually rearranged the living room, dining room, Etc. The downside to Trainwreck, IMO, is coming down off of this! I am absolutely exhausted when I come down, it's like a balloon just pops and all of the air and oomph just goes out of me and I absolutely have to lie down! Also, sadly for me anyway, there's no giggly side effects. That's one of my favorite things about this whole MMJ Journey. I'm not a very "happy" person and I don't laugh a lot. So having something that gives me the giggles just thrilled me. Trainwreck is not one of those strains.

I love this Sativa! It fits exactly what I want it to.. Gives me energy (#1), creativity (#2) not mostly what I love, it (#3) it gives me the giggles! For someone who has been fighting depression their entire adult life a nice giggle every now and then is unbelievably amazing! Unfortunately, I cannot sign this strain anywhere right now and it's super bumming me out! I'm being forced to use used Super Lemon Haze or Trainwreck which in and of themselves are not bad. One gives massive amounts of energy while the other one tons of creativity. Unfortunately neither one of them help me feel euphoric and or giggly. I want that giggly! So I guess I'll keep looking. In the meantime, I highly recommend this if you want to get shit done and laugh while you're getting it done!
