Bubba Kush

Normally, I am fan of Sativas/Sativa dominant hybrids. I enjoy the creativity, physical motivation and abstract thought they provide. The potential couch lock and "duuhhh" effects of Indicas kinda scare me, Until I smoked some of this Bubba Kush....I am in my mid 30s and consider myself *fairly* mature...recently, I was hanging out with some younger friends/co-workers and they were all 19-20 year old ghetto females. They all spoke the hood slang, actin' a fool singin' the new hood music all the while random hood characters came and went from the window of my friends car. let me clarify that I in no way oppose any of the ghetto type descriptions above, its just that as an older guy, I have grown a world away from my own hood upbringing and the time in my life when these situations were normal for me. I would have been awkward and uncomfortable stone sober (my sativa preference would have made this much worse as I am particularly introverted) . In comes Bubba...I was cool, calm, relaxed and just plain happy. The backseat of that ford taurus was the most comfy spot in the world in that moment. It was a nice break from my overactive head and my inability to physically relax. I will definitely be adding some Indicas to my wish list.

Sour Diesel

The first strain I fell in love with, the aroma of the flower was as intoxicating as the smoke was potent. Walking through the mountains on the Appalachian Trail in southern NY at 5 am, as the sun rises and the forest wakes into life around you...or sitting on a boulder in the middle of a fast moving creek, eyes closed, wind at your back, sun on your face, out in the atmosphere but lost in the sounds of the world around you, forging a connection deeper than you yourself can comprehend. This, is why I choose cannabis, and Sour Diesel showed me the way.
