I love this strain. But it's weird to me that it's voted more toward the "energizing" side of the spectrum bc I actually find it to be moderately sedating. I find it to be extremely effective for nausea, pain, stress and even insomnia. It's definitely one of my top 5 and I am spoiled bc I know exactly where it comes from and precisely how much love and care was put into it. It's a beautiful process with these guys. Northeast.

Dark Star is an absolutely outstanding pure Indica that offers nearly incomparable relief of pain (including bone, joint, and nerve pain; chronic, acute, intractable, etc) nausea, anxiety, insomnia, migraine and migraine symptoms, and probably a slew of other conditions that I personally do not suffer from. The flowers are super dense, and heavily coated with beautiful and perfectly sticky trichomes (definitely recommend using a nice glass piece to experience full flavor or if you MUST roll, roll a spliff so it will burn evenly). You will be met with an earthy, spicy aroma with hints of what almost smell like coffee, citrus and natural camphor laurel oil/African Blue Basil. It is a quite aesthetically pleasing strain...in the sun it shimmers like a diamond and from a distance appears to be almost a fiery pinkish orange. Even though it's average THC content is only around 15%, I would still say use caution when medicating with this strain any time other than bed time due to it's true Indica profile: It has a fairly sedating effect which may make it difficult to drive or engage in other activities that require physical/mental alertnes. I happen to love it for that exact reason as it has allowed me to sleep all the way through the night! If you are looking for something to melt away stress, pain, or nausea and make you feel like your brain and body are snuggled up in fluffy blankets, this is the strain for you! This stuff is super great for getting chores done or working intensely on a project. It keeps you focused and motivated but also allows for some well-deserved relaxation upon completion of your task. I personally enjoy it best before mowing the lawn, raking, or other yard work or boring household chores like straightening up, vacuuming, laundry, or dishes. I also like to use it before sitting down to work on a sewing or visual art project, it keeps me focused on my task at hand while also eliminating any pain or discomfort I would normally have sitting for long periods like that. It has a lovely sweet banana scent and beautiful sticky resin pockets. Flavor is sweet and kind of earthy.
