Jamaican

I struggle with frequent chronic migraines and fatigue associated with them, most strains I’ve smoked are good for general pain relief, but none come nowhere near as good as “Jamaican Pineapple Nimbus” for me.
I’m assuming Jamaican Pineapple Nimbus is a phenotype of the broad Jamaican Landraces since it doesn’t have its own page here on Leafly.
I bought two 1/8ths, each pack had dry, dense and sticky buds. If you didn’t mind your fingers getting sticky, it could crumble apart in your hand with little effort. I had to be careful how much I put in my grinder at once otherwise it would grind too fine. It leaves behind a LOT of kief as well; the kief collector in my grinder dominantly smells like Jamaican Pineapple.
Upfront it smells like citrus-sour pineapple gummy bears with a subtle earthy undertone. When smoked, spicy-earthy notes come upfront on the inhale, and leaves a sweet and sour-candy like earthy tone aftertaste on the exhale.
Normally with my migraines, they don’t fully go away after smoking- but the pain becomes more manageable.
With Jamaican Pineapple, I forgot I was even having a migraine. After smoking, my energy levels were higher... I actually felt awake, the pounding headache was heading out the door but not quite gone yet, my mind was clear and my thought process was fluid instead of foggy and slow.
Jamaican Pineapple is tied for my favorite/go-to Sativa with Matanuska Thunder Fuck/Matanuska Tundra.
Both JP and MTF are strains with unique terpene profiles that seem to have strong medicinal properties for treatment against migraines. If you struggle with migraines, I recommend trying JP or MTF.
