A follow up to my previous review: This strain is potent enough to please the connoisseur but has a mellow enough character not to necessarily overwhelm the novice. One toke is enough to satisfy, though more will not lead to couch rot. Additionally, however high one may be when heading for bed, sleep is easily obtained and solid throughout the night. While stone-over will occur the following morning, once out of bed it is decidedly cerebral and should not intrude on daily activities or mental function; a big plus, in my opinion.

This is a 70/30 sativa-dominant medicinal hybrid from G&G Genetics that is a cross of Cambodian landrace and Ice that is currently being offered by the original medical cannabis provider in Southern New Mexico. Offering a fragrant nose of sweet fruit and berry, it has a a pleasant dusty, green herbal flavor that is not noticeably cannabis in character, but can be a bit harsh in the throat, and as its name implies, expands noticeably in the lungs if too much is taken in. The aftertaste is long, with an interesting note of toasted grain. The rush, which does not manifest immediately, builds steadily, offering a strong cerebral buzz that is well-balanced by equal body that can be tingly as well as sensual. Very stoney and exceptionally long, it provides a decidedly mellow and quite pleasant sense of well-being. One of if not the best strains I've had to date. Well worth seeking out.

Unlike original Blue Haze, which is an 80/20 sativa dominant hybrid of Blueberry and Santa Cruz Haze, this medicinal hybrid, created by Mother Earth Herbs, in southern New Mexico, is a 50/50 hybrid of Blueberry and some Haze strain, resulting in higher potency than other offerings of Blue Dream I have tried in New Mexico's medical cannabis program. The buds are small to medium size, with dusty, moderate dark green coloring with pale brown accents, that are dense and slightly sticky. The aroma is mild to moderate, with hints of fruit and conifer. The buzz is potent and balanced between body and cerebral, with the initial rush manifesting itself within a couple minutes of intake, with some creep continuing, and lasting at its peak for at least a couple hours, with a strong, after-buzz that lingers long after for a few hours more, with only one or two tokes off a water pipe. Moderate psychoactive characteristics. Plus, the taste and intake is comparatively smooth. Finally, the buzz lends itself either to activity or rest, allowing sleep if that is one's final end. Far prefer this hybrid combination to the original more commonly available.
