Blue Dream

1/12/2014
The taste is a little bland and I am rarely blown away by it, but if I'm not going premium top shelf meds, I go blue dream. It is the quintessential hybrid - funky psychedelic feeling and a nice body buzz. I find it difficult to concentrate though, which is unfortunate. I enjoy reading or working on projects while high and this weed causes my head to go all ADHD. Normally sativas help me concentrate, so who knows what is up?

Harlequin

This is the second time I've smoked Harlequin and the first from a grower at the NW Cannabis Market. First, this guy had no idea what he was doing and the herb was clearly harvested too soon because it was way too sticky. No, that sticky icky icky shit isn't always what you want. But even his shitty / cheap grow was awesome! Harlequin is hard to fuck up. It is just such a mild high; your mind is still feeling creative, but it is chilling... relaxing; no bounce. Your body feels a lot for a Sativa; this sort of ever-present tingling sensation. There's no anxiety; in fact, if you felt anxiety before smoking, this will alleviate it.

Best CBD-rich strain I've tried so far. Has a very smooth and tasty smoke to it. The high is all body, but the mind instantly relaxes. There's a slight tingling sensation. This is great day time weed. You can function doing most jobs on this herb; there's very little of the bouncy thoughts so common with hybrids / sativas. I will definitely be buying this strain again.

Have a Heart - Greenwood

This is the place to go! I do wish the average customer was a little older, as it is in the University District and I felt the dab lounge was overcrowded with gelled up college kids. I guess I'm not gonna hate, just warn anyone else who is looking for a bit of a late 20s / early 30s vibe. The door person, budtender, and dab bar dude were all very chill and friendly. The place was decorated in a great fashion; if more of my friends had mmj cards, it would be a great place to just relax and pass the time with them. Didn't ask if they have wifi, but I wouldn't be surprised; it was that kind of place. Basically, the place is filled with cool hippie wall decorations and comfy couches. Hopefully the laws change and they can get their restaurant! Seems like they're doing everything they can to make it a comfortable hangout place, but there are still arbitary laws holding them back.

Harlequin

Mild and energetic. It has that Sativa high, where your mind gets energized and creative, but it isn't so overwhelming that you're bouncing from thought to thought. Unlike many Sativas, this gives me no anxiety. In fact, it reduces it! Can definitely note the high CBD:THC ratio. Also, no couch-lock. Overall, would highly recommend.

The Green Door

I will probably shop here again. Positives: -Location is great for me. As somebody else pointed out, if you take public transit, this is a great stopping off point. -Budtender seemed to know her shit and was friendly. -Casual atmosphere; did not feel rushed. Negatives: -The suggested donations were a little higher than I expected -The 'tax' part was confusing because MMJ is taxed at the regular retail rate and this just seemed to be an extra $1 fee per product.. Would prefer tax just be included in the price, like other access points do.

It was a pretty decent smoke, but a little too heady. I got it for anxiety, but felt relatively anxious. I was also really hungry, with dry eyes / dry mouth. I guess it packs a hell of a punch, so that helps with pain, but as far as anxiety goes, I did not really notice any improvement.
