more sativa-y than I'd thought it would be. Lots of head effects, tinnitus particularly loud, but the other head effects were not unpleasant (I usually find sativas quite unpleasantly head-y). I certainly would not be trying to do anything thinky with this stuff. Body effects less pronounced than most of my meds. It's not making my head hurt less, but I don't really care, either.

After about 15 minutes, my migraine symptoms were gone! The only head effect I have is a vague warm feeling, but I'm not stoned at all. My body feels relaxed, though my back muscles have not relaxed.

Went there tonight, and it was mostly positive. I was surprised, given the reviews, at the gaps in the budtender's knowledge of his product. I was choosing between three strains, CO2 oil cartridges, and he didn't seem to know which were more sativa- vs indica-dominant. I wouldn't necessarily expect someone to know that right off hand, but at least be able to find out. That said, I'm a pretty hard grader, so all in all, this was much much better than a lot of other dispensaries I've been to. And the atmosphere was pretty great. I wish they (or anyone, right now) had cannatonic in a CO2 oil. (hint, hint) I settled for the Sound Wellness, and so far, I like it, though it makes the tinnitus (which I get with ANY amount of CBD) a lot worse. But pretty good pain relief and body wellness-feeling, very very little head high, which is exactly how I like it.

I have to come back to review the med quality, as I haven't had a chance to try them yet, but the service was so fantastic. I loved that the atmosphere did not have me feeling like a druggie, but at the same time wasn't so institutional, either. I liked the budtender, and she was happy to talk to me about the right ratio of cbd:thc for me, and which products might have that. Also, she helped me figure out which medibles I could have, what with my food allergies. That's an awfully nice thing about dealing with the person who did the baking! Plus an awesome dog, who is being very well trained.

I haven't tried the meds yet, but I had my first shopping experience here, and it was quite a relief. Lydia brought me back, and we sat down and discussed a number of things about medical marijuana and my experience and medical situation, and arrived at a few recommendations. She made it painless and judgement-free, too, which is nice for a nearly-40 soccer mom!
