I am an Arizona consumer, I bought this from a dispensary named Curaleaf. The breeder was a brand they call “ find.” Which is like the known breeder for mids and shwag. Before this I spent 180 on a 22red bred ( Cali grown) Zookies ( 1/2oz) that were platinum tier ( top shelf) I’m on a budget now and the “ Find.” 1/2oz of Desert Lime was on sale for 22.50 silver tier ( bottom to second of bottom shelf) ( like I said, known shwag dealers) I was disappointed because I missed out on a sale of Roadawg that was on sale for 35 a half oz and it was Gold tier some decent mids that had some purple. But I figured it is what it is grab something else cheap and get out. So desert lime came home with me along with Chemist OG but I have yet to try it and that’s a different review. Anyways. Upon opening my bag of Desert lime I was greeted by a bright lime green bud with mild orange hairs and hints of purplish pink and was absolutely smacked in the face with a scent I’ve never smelt come from weed before. Sour candy, lime, citrusy with notes of fresh earth, the exhale as sour as a lime. After weed starving all day my first hit around 8pm blasted me off into a talkative safe spaced mindset, Immediately I felt in control of my mind with this clear headed high that was so intense walking almost felt drunk after my third bowl while in the same time feeling as if a fog in my head was cleared, I was as happy as a mom in target, got the munchies and played games at like 2 in the morning without the help of caffeine and was able to fall asleep on command if not better once I felt like it. I didn’t feel wired or restless. As for the strain science itself it’s a 50-50 hybrid, the originally breeder has a contract of secrecy with all the sub-breeders so the parent strains are unknown but I feel an extreme “ lemon haze” nostalgia which is most likely the sativa origins but that’s just my guess. If I had to guess a second strain it would probably be a earthy kinda bud for a indica maybe a Rntz strain or a kush of some kind. 22.50 I woulda payed at least 100 for this half any day, if someone brought it to the smoke sesh 100% thinking it’s some expensive gas. Plz if you’re not sure abt this strain because of the lower THC profile, the lime like terps definitely make a difference in the high. To end it with the ugly, I am a very experienced smoker ( average edible dose for me is like 250-300mg) and this strain 3 bowls out of a bong after not smoking for maybe 20 hours, I got some paranoia, anxiety and weed guilt from it, that could be the “ Haze” or sativa part of the strain but if you’re a newbie or maybe lower tolerance be careful with this one you’ll underestimate it because of the aroma. You’ve been warned.
