Purple OG Kush

Strain analytics printed on the package said that the strain has about 13.5% THC and .47% CBD. Fruity aroma, mildly floral, sweet. Dense, plush bud, pleasantly frosty and with some good pale-orange curly hairs. The color is mostly a dark soft green, like lamb's ear. Smooth-hitting, very mild piney flavor. Quickly dulls muscle aches.

OrganiCann

Very nice people, good recommendations, wide variety of medicines. Effective edibles, good deals on hash, sunday receipt discount is great if you're not a student or a veteran. Large, warehouse space with separate sections for cultivators, but it's often a lot of big grey empty space inside the store. The front lobby is small but comfortable. It's not sketchy. It's also not sleek or designed, but that means it isn't pretentious or full of hipsters.

Not exactly knockout gas. You'll probably fall asleep - during the day it'll be naps on the couch, at night you'll drift off. Sets you up for some relaxing dreams... probably about breakfast.

J-27

This was recommended to me as a peppy sativa that was potent and consistent, good for motivation and focus (I needed something to keep my ADD in check while I was writing papers). I bought a gram, packed my water pipe's bowl and fired up, but instead of a pleasantly uplifted and creative mindset I felt no mental or physical change. I waited thirty or forty-five minutes, just to be sure, packed a second bowl, and tried again. I never did experience any change in my mental state - physically, I got a little dried out and dizzy. No positives to this strain for me.

Lamb's Bread

Delicious, effective, happy relaxed medicine that fires up my drawing impulse. Great for gaming, hanging out, shopping, drawing, writing, or cooking. Fluffy.

Big Buddha Cheese

Not lazy so much as heavy through the muscles. Knocks out migraine pain, but not muscle pain. Deliberate, dream-like. Physical effects arise very quickly. Smells good, tastes less good. Zen. Headachey when combined with other strains.

Headband

Uplifted in a sort of floaty way, with focused but not entirely clear head - great for reading sci-fi or pop-science, but not for theoretical history. Snack-happy. While I marked that it makes me "lazy", I think the effect is really more like compounding inertia: if you're out and about while you smoke your j, it'll boost your stamina and keep you engaged by your errands; if you're at home on the couch, you'll probably stay there and watch all those episodes of Criminal Minds and Law & Order that are always on. Pleasant.

Kryptonite

Kryptonite is a strain for when you want your body to feel good but don't want your head to be too cloudy. I was very focused and clear, but I wasn't at all productive with this strain. Well, I was reproductive, LOL. It's a great strain for making out, and wanna get touchy-feely. Be careful when you lay down with your partner, though - it can put you to sleep if you get heavy-handed with it, and then there won't be any heavy hands on you :(. Less giddy than Passion Fruit, but similarly arousing. When I used it without my makeout partner around, I wound up listening to music and staring at the visualization in full screen on my computer.

Jillybean

12/16/2011
In three words: versatile, energetic, productive. Jillybean is a great functional strain for me. I get that feeling of relief from my pain or anxiety, but without being couch-locked or having to muddle through my thoughts. When I need to draw or write, or I just need to get off my butt and do my chores, Jillybean is my go-to. It also takes the edge off of depressive moods.
