An overrated strain that doesn't pack the wallop that was advertised when I bought it. The aroma is not great, the bud crumbles easily and has lots of large stems that add weight and reduce the amount of consumable product. This strain isn't terrible, but there are a lot better choices out there.
A solid strain, smells wonderful with a sticky and dense product that packs a wallop. Just one strong pipe hit gets me quite high and a second pipe hit is blissful.
My only warning is if you consume too much, you'll get nasty cotton mouth and probably a headache a few hours later.
Great for chronic pain management.
Strong dense weed that has an inoffensive odor.
Works quickly and strongly after inhaling and holding your breath after a long toke will produce a great surging high as you exhale. If you like weed that packs a wallop this is it.
The blend's weakness is it dehydrates you greatly and if you smoke a lot will produce a nasty headache an hour or so later.
Very nice, it doesn't taste good at all (very harsh flavor in fact) and it is pretty stinky, but this offers a nice euphoric high that does not drain your energy.
Can make you a little dizzy if you huff too much too fast and it is prone to a little Dry Mouth. Avoid smoking even just a small amount of the stems as they WILL give you a headache.
I have sampled better brands and blends since weed was legalized in WA State, but I have also sampled worse.
The high is pleasant, neither gentle nor debilitating, but rather a nice hybrid of relaxation and a mild creative, euphoria. It's a very good herb to aid your creative writing, drawing or painting.
The weed also came packaged in a handy plastic tube (similar to the old 35mm film canisters we all used back in the day) and the weight of the 2gram product was right on the money.
The biggest draw back of this weed is it stinks to high heaven. It has a very pungent smell when smoked and also dry. It is not a pleasant smell, a combination of foot odor and milk gone bad. It also has a very unpleasant taste, like petroleum.
If you can get past the unpleasant smell and taste this is fairly decent weed.
Solid Indica strain that will both relax and lighten your mood.
Not a good strain if you need to be productive, but a solid strain for a night watching your favorite films, playing your favorite video games or exploring your artistic creativity.
There's a distinct smell to this bud, keep it wrapped tight or your whole room will smell!
Highly recommended, probably not a good choice for novice smokers, but veteran consumers who want something to keep them euphoric and chilled, will enjoy this strain.
It smells delicious, tastes lovely and has a distinct euphoric quality. A real winner and highly recommended.
This flower is NOT for novice smokers, it is very strong, hits you after just a few strong puffs and has a strong euphoric effect. Your mind alters a little if you consume a lot, perfect for those who love a deep high to explore writing or an immersive experience playing a video game.
It's my favorite flower that I've sampled so far since the Cannabis City retail outlet opened up in Seattle.
Unfortunately, this strain is often readily available at medical dispensaries but extremely rare in the regular retail outlets and when it does arrive, it goes fast!
A very poor product all the way around.
The packaging is obtuse and annoying, you need scissors and a lot of patience to actually get at the product with a lot of wasteful cardboard and plastic left over.
The taste is very medicinal, like lemon cough syrup, the scent is just a little putrid, not terrible, just unpleasant.
I am a 6' 1" male, 220 lbs and it took over an hour to get any effect from a full 5mg does and the effect was MINIMAL, like a very small hit off a decent joint.
Swallowing a second 5mg bottle only marginally improved the buzz.
Experienced users will find the effect too subtle, you'd need to swallow 22 dollars worth of product to get any kind of a strong buzz.
Do yourself a favor just buy some good flower and leave this Wal*Mart type product alone, it is clearly mass produced, not very fresh or tasty and really not strong enough to justify the high price.
The staff is friendly, clean, sober and knowledgeable.
The atmosphere of the shop itself is as drab as it gets, antiseptic and dull. White walls, three small glass counters and a hard worn floor.
The lines are long and the inventory never lasts, so you have a VERY high risk of lining up for a very long time and not being able to buy anything.
They have this terrible policy where they "round up" to the nearest 5 dollars if you use a card, so everyone gets cash out of a machine (which charges a huge service fee), which holds up lines and service.
The staff suffer through it all, meekly apologizing for no product, no decor or atmosphere, long lines and quite frankly exorbitant pricing, (none of which they really have any control over).
I've bought several brands and styles now and I can summarize my findings as:
1. Avoid pre-rolled joints entirely. They are a waste of money. I've had three now, all came in UNDER weight and were rolled too tight to smoke smoothly. The overall quality is inferior to flower and seems like the "scraps" of other blends, rolled into something convenient at a heavier price.
2. I like kush from my street dealer, but both kush flower blends I tried here were subrate. Really you can find better mediocre stuff from just about any random street dealer. I will be avoiding all kush blends here as a result.
3. I tried a 2 gram pack from Gecko Growers, called "Girl Scout Cookie". It was superb. Even just the smell of it makes it clear it was both potent and pleasant.
Girl Scout cookie smokes well in paper, pipe or bong. It is a little moist, but still conducive to burning well.
It produces an exceptionally "happy" high. It has a bit of "creeper" edge to it and may not last quite as long as other flower, but the overall buzz is very pleasant.
Girl Scout Cookie was great flower after a tough day, or a Friday night when you want your work stress to evaporate.
I will be buying it again.
SUMMARY:
This place has a long way to go. Most of its problems are outside its control, the supply chain is still ridiculously short and unreliable and the demand still stronger than anyone anticipated.
The fact it was the only retailer approved in the state's largest urban center is not the retailer's fault, but only exacerbates the problems.
Still, the elements Cannabis City can control are not that great either. There's no shelter from the elements as you wait in line, no information while you waiting what may or may not be in stock. There's no guarantee you'll get anything at all in fact.
The only redeeming quality here is the staff know their stuff and are very courteous.
It's like they know this whole roll out has been a debacle and are trying to compensate for it as best as they can.
Hopefully things will improve and the good news is at least one of the flower strains turned out to be very excellent indeed and worth the trip.
