I enjoy pure landrace strains and, aside from Jack Herer, only Indicas. While effects are purely subjective, I can say this strain is pure enjoyment in a plant. As many reviewers have noted, Afghan Kush is quite narcotic in its effect on pain and is better than pharmaceutical sleep aids hands-down it can knock you out into a blissful slumber for hours or a whole night depending on your intake. I get paranoia quite easily from cannabis the older I get (early 50s & been smoking cannabis since 19) yet this strain very rarely gets me anxious or worried. I enjoy it so much I'm currently growing it in my little 6-plant garden and always keep a good supply on hand for anytime relaxation and rest are called for.

I am an Indica head to the core but this one Sativa is always in my top 5 favs of all time. First tried it in AMS at GreenHouse Centrum and got on a tram and lost my way all day on purpose just to enjoy whatever came my way. I find my senses are hypersensitive and I can hear conversations clear across a busy street or crowded cafe. I love this strain so much I grow it myself alongside my go-to Indicas as it helps tremendously with my cancer pain. Truly a remarkable strain and homage to the great man it was named for (btw it rhymes with 'terror' as he was fond of saying; R.I.P.)
