Lemon Kush
3/8/2019
Just ran into this strain in Medellin. Grown organically, and pretty dry to touch, not like in the states, where you sometimes get some straight up porno sacks where the shit sticks to the bags and you have to peal it off the plastic, leaving the bag with a nice trichome frost coating, leaving 0 shake, and it tastes like a mouthful of lemon-flavored sour patch kids.
These here are some very dense, bone-dry nugs, but not overly large (on average about the size of thumbnails, with a noticeable, but not overwhelming (subtle) scent of lemon along with sweet earthy hindi kush aromas. Pretty decent-size bag, so it left decent shake.
Smokes super smooth in a j. Downright exotic terpenes when dry vaping. Do it in that order or else the j will taste like ashtray after the vape. The lemon comes through way more in the taste than the smell. Even the roach tastes like lemon, it's crazy. Tastes soooo clean, not harsh despite being bone dry; perhaps due to the way it was grown (outdoor organic greenhouses) along the equator at 2000 Mts elevation..
Shit gives a walloping, without knocking you out completely or making you stupid. Its actually a pretty intellectual high, you can hone in on work, etc without much effort, kinda has auto-pilot programming included. Because you feel impaled, yet shit gets done magically and thinking is swift. Like motivation isn't compromised. Cottonmouth seems to be pretty minimal, saliva puddle in my mouth never vanished; eyes are pretty much bleeding though. Munchie onset is moderate.
Great for anxiety, not an anti-social high, but not sure about playing basketball or activities requiring a decent quotient of motor skill-intensive aptitudes. Weights or jogging, perhaps. Relaxing come down after about a 3-4 hour sustained mind-sparking peak.
Hopefully your partner also smokes. Cottonmouth. Unnoticeable. =)
Definitely a top strain. Lemon taste never gets old, but you may get spoiled if you have a lot. Medellin is nice...
