I grew this strain a few years ago. Not to sound corny, but this is a very meditative strain. Its strong and it hits, but its smooth, its not too much of this not too much of that- but it gives all of itself as is. So its not like one of those easily forgettable strains. It isn't boring. But its just gives you what you need and nothing more. Both indica and sativa lovers will be satisfied. If I had to paint a picture of this strain it would be like still crystal clear water gently moving on an overcast day. If you want to cover all bases, this is one of those strains. Good for people who have a tendency to trip out too much on some strains. This strain will treat you right. Has some interesting phenos.

I clipped a few buds off the very bottom still all white hairs but HEAVY trichome formation...has been for a while. I quick dried the buds in the oven which usually produces a harsh smoke. This strain was smooth after a mere quick dry and had an enjoyable flavor...thats right off the plant folks. We have about 3-5 more weeks I think...We will see how the high develops then...for now I will say this: WOW....I'm coming off a batch of some satori and this strain WAKES ME UP...dont get me wrong the satori is good shit...but this weed is amazing. Its got that "fun" background to it. Not necessarily creative...just kind of...colorful...joyful. The kind of strain that would make jumping off a rope swing into a lake somewhere in the south sound pretty damn nice right about now. TLDR: Energizing, Euphoric with a fun dreamy quality to it...with a pinch of calmness. COLORS

The pheno I had wasn't that great. Wasn't grown as best it could have been. Yet still had the maui vibe. Focused, energetic, creative, awake, heart racing, motivated Yet it didn't do much for stress I found myself wanting a more full bodied effect. Once again probably due to the quality of the bud.

Dreamy, soft, dark, comfortable, sleepy.. yet more like really really comfy. definite visual cloudiness. Out of all the purple strains I have had before this one feels the most "purple". The pheno I had was very dark. Not overpowering. Not a care in the world. Its hard to be worried about a lot when on GDP. This is a solid strain and will leave you with an overall relaxed/contentment feeling with your life. Good mood stabilizer yet may get somewhat old after a while for casual day use. Fun daytime strain every now and then but definitely recommended for night overall.

I had some really really dank og kush from cali, so frosty you could barely handle it. The high is very intricate a full bodied. it seems like the balance between sativa and indica is so fine that it melds more into one effect to where its difficult to point out the "sativa effects" vs the "indica effects". The high manages to be intense yet subtle at the same time....almost like you've slipped into a completely different reality "tone" wise. For me personally. I didn't like it that much, it made me feel de-attached. Not sure how much it had to do with where I was at in my life then but everytime I would smoke it I got an undertone of anxiety just from it making me feel seperate from other things. Not a bad strain just not for me. I do though enjoy some OG crosses, I will have to give it another shot someday.

Soft, familiar, comforting with an edge of slightly racing heart, pressure in chest arrea. Overall strong body effect, floating, lightness. definite visual effects, things get softer and more creame like. Feels more "heavenly" than trippy. Like a resting place..or something. I feel: relaxed and dreamy yet not too distracted. calm but with an increased heart rate and stress free with enough energy to tackle my day without the high being too much of a distraction I think I got a more indica dom pheno for this batch, but it feels very well balanced. The balance reminds me of kandy kush....its not LIKE kandy kush but there are similar qualities in the indica/sativa feel This is a nice fall/winter strain...compliments the seasons. Smells very good, I would enjoy having the smell around sober even, as a sort of incense.

Im not a huge fan of OG Kush, its a strong interesting strain but it makes me anxious. This though, was another story. Very comforting. The kind of strain that reminds you that its all ok and to enjoy life. Has a heavy feel to it yet thinking is clear. This is a good strain for going to the movies or some kind of activity to stimulate your senses...a walk in the park. Overall this is a strain I would like to have on the regular.

When i think of this strain i think of a warm sunny day, the tree's glistening deep green the birds singing...Chocolope is happy, vibrant, clear, relaxed, focused.q Perfect for what it is.q And it does kinda smell like chocolate :)
