This is my second time trying Cheesy Headband oil concentrates. I wanted a more relaxing, calming strain than I normally use, since I've been extremely stressed, tense, having chronic pain flares, and having increased restlessness and anxiety with strong sativas. If I try this strain again I might prefer to vape it. It takes a large dose of the oil concentrates to give me any effect, and it's expensive. But with a large dose, I get a very decent body high. It feels like something has magically taken the edge off my tension, anxiety, and constant restlessness, but without causing any head high at all. I get a subtle full body relaxation, which is really unusual for me since I have chronic pain and bad restless legs syndrome. It doesn't stimulate my appetite, and I still have zero interest in food even with a large dose, but when I force myself to eat, my nausea is decently controlled. My pain is somewhat better, I think partly because I'm more relaxed, partly because this strain just makes me not care as much that I'm in pain. I get a fair anti-anxiety effect too. Paranoia and increased anxiety are generally the worst adverse effect I get with THC. This strain doesn't activate that at all. My anxious thoughts are still there, but the volume is turned down. I feel like myself, not really impaired, but just more mellow and relaxed than usual. I don't feel sedated, but it's easier to fall asleep if I want to. The effect is very subtle for me. Like if you slipped these concentrates into my food without telling me, I'd notice that I felt a lot more relaxed and less anxious, but wouldn't guess I was high, because I don't feel altered or impaired at all. It's almost like the effect I get from a low dose of a prescription muscle relaxant. I don't feel any headband effect or other cerebral effects at all. This is not a social strain for me at all, and since the effect is so subtle, I wouldn't choose this strain if I wanted an energetic, uplifting effect, OR if I wanted a really sedating effect. But I'll be bookmarking this strain as a go-to for a clear-headed high when I need help relaxing or managing pain without seeming impaired.

Patriot Care has the most effective, AND best-tasting edibles I've found at any dispensary I've visited in MA. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Location is convenient to the T but can be tricky to find.

Provides a nice overall happiness, calmness, sense of well-being, and a little creativity. I hate the taste, but it's worth it. Doesn't activate my RLS like some sativas.

Provided a pleasant relaxation without making me numb r glued to the couch. I felt uplifted and productive for the first time in months.
