Got 3.5g from Native Herb. Their packaging is just beautiful. This flower has a distinct aroma from mostly all other strains I've sampled. Strangely I don't recall having tried any Diesel strains. Not entirely sure if thats because of two traumatic brain injuries, or smoking weed all the time. Either way, if this is what Diesel strains smell like, I'm not sure why its popular man. This some stanky weeds. The high was a little lighter and kinda felt like a bottle rocket - quick bang, short come down. Definitely good while it lasted, and the high was quite giggly and happy, but I won't be buying or growing this strain in the future.
I've been wanting to try this and its parent strains for a while. I packed a bowl of compact, but light flower from Kiona. Green and a little on resiny side. It by no means is a strong high, so dont expect to be floored, but where this strain lacks in punch, it more than
makes up for in other areas. First, opening Kiona's jars is so fun, they wax their lids. The scent was typical Afghani smell, and super pleasant. In the 3.5g jar, one nugget caught my eye in particular, the trimming was really well done. Smoke over ice in a bong, man, this is where she shines. Her flavor is like, coffee, chocolate, nutmeg, almonds... herbs and spices; this would be a great strain around the holidays! Eff it. I'm putting on a Christmas movie and packing another bowl. Pain relief isn't noteworthy. Mood lifter, and definitely a 'hey darlin, lets chill by the fireplace' kinda vibe to it also. Forget the movie. Going go cuddle with the wife.
Deftly I removed the two little buds from the glass container upon which inscription lay "Artizen" artfully followed by 'Poison Fruit', placing them gently into my examining bowl. Chunky little olive green and amber fuzz balls, covered in a light film of sticky little trichomes, roled around heavily in the glass bowl; I began prying them apart to ease them into the grinder, releasing the pungent aromas one might expect from the indica dominance already present in her appearance. Wonderful! Not very fruity like other reviews are stating. A bit nutty, piney perhaps. Like a waiter, I held my grinder over my bowl and watched the tender little remnants fall effortlessly up into a little clump. There, at the center of my bowl rested the glorious mound of woodsy colored stickiness. Now was the time; I affixed my fingers firmly around my bowl, and with little effort manage to sink a gram into it. The smoke came clean over ice in my bong. definitely on the peppery side. The tolerance levels are high for me, so take this next information under consideration. If I were a novice smoker this might be a wee bit on the heavier side. Mildly so, but still. Pretty good tingly body buzz from my toes to my head. I suffer chronic, combat related back pain - I'm writing this about 30 minutes into the high, and still feel really great, so decent pain relief. Head high is on the mildly mild side. Also suffer ptsd and depression; great mood lifter, but recommend for those that are also afflicted, be around people. Get chatty :) Expect the hammers of the underworld to fall upon your eyelids, the fires of their anvils will turn your tear ducts to deserts! Probably a good evening strain, but definitely a better nighttime - I highly recommend an evening curled up next to your fair maiden, a bowl of your finest munchies, a cozy blanket and a lotr marathon :)
A blue-grey haze filled my hobbit hole as great billows of fluffy smoke wafted from the resin incrusted glass bong, that rested on my table. A curious little glob of honey colored, crystalline goo rested gently on the edge of a tiny spoon shaped pen I held up to eye level. "Curious indeed!" I said quietly, while stroking my chin whiskers. As the intense heat subsided enough, the goo on my tiny spoon began to liquify before my eyes! 'Quickly!' I thought, 'time is short!' My deft hands slithered across the table and snatched my glass cap and covered the lid on the banger as the pipe slowly filled with smoke. My lips pressed to the glass, I drew in a slow breath and felt the gas inflat my lungs like dragon fire; my head leaned back, the smoke exited my lips in wavy, serpentine rivers. The sensation of little fingers gently massaging my skin crept up my arms, and gravity pulled me down into the cushions. For a time, the Kush has won the day, victorious over my chronic and sometimes debilitating back pain. Comfort and calm overcome the senses, as the weight of the world drifts dreamily away. I can finally relax. And perhaps channel my favorite author from time to time.
I came across a strain called Orange Kush Mints by Twisted. package said it was 1g but I'm pretty sure it was a little bit more. chunky fuzzy nugs covered in orange hairs. smoked a bowl in a bong, pleasantly pungent citrusy weed aroma, and the aftertaste was a little on the minty/lemony side. that thc comes down on you like a hammer. definitely an evening strain. 10/10 would rrrrrrrrrripppp again.
man what a great sticky mess this one is. got 3.5g from private reserve; super thick with quite a bit of purple here and there. smoked in a pipe, pleasant smell but couldn't place it. tasted a little sweet; feel like im wearing a fluffy sweater, and like, pillows on my face. weird. oh yeah....my mouth is like a hot ass southwestern border town in August. water please..
going off other reviews, not a bad strain. a little on the moderate side as far as euphoria/body buzz/head high is concerned, and probably wouldnt buy again, but all things concerned, pleasant smoke in a bowl, tastes great, smell wasnt overly stanky, and after taste was certainly that tasty cheesy weed flavor.
had a hard time finding a reason not to give this 5 stars. just all around wonderful strain. first time trying it on, packed a bowl and ripped away. smoothish going down, taste wasnt that remarkable, but the high is worth mentioning. Currently about 15 minutes in, clear headed thoughts, but definitely head high, with moderate body buzz going on. is it weird that my butt cheeks are super tingly??
two bowls in, and I feel pretty grand. high tolerance indica smoker for chronic back pain, but also a combat veteran with severe ptsd. the change is nice - tingling from my toes to my scalp, mellow positive vibes, still kinda feel my back pain, but dont really give a flying squirrel, not overly energetic, literally laying sideways on my bed... craving allllll the grape stuff.... brb...
its like a giant purple gorilla wrapping its huge furry arms around you, cuddling up with my favorite pillow. Mix it with some purple thai and you have a winner.
