Awesome shop! Two things:
1) Their Nepalese Hashplant is the best 'haymaker' indica I've ever had- and I'm a cancer patient with a high daily tolerance for reference.
2)This shop, along with a local artisan, Brent , and the gorgeous woman (and friend) who selected it, sold me a glass piece shaped like a psychedelic elephant (you heard me) that is simply one of a kind and almost too 'artisy' to use (I'll post pics of someone tells me how!).
Seriously, well done guys; I live in Seattle but will always stop buy your shop when I'm in the area
It's been some time since I've been able to stop by this incredible place but I certainly haven't forgotten it. I was living between Oregon and Washington for a brief time, attempting to work out living situations, all while being newly diagnosed with cancer. I had relationships with dispensaries in WA but not OR, nor an OR medical card.
There is no other way I can describe the staff at Blooming Deals beyond simply 'Mind-blowing'. They are a group of incredibly caring, helpful, and knowledgable people from the workers at the door to the budtenders.
Their product is first class: To name a few, I've had their GDP, Gorilla Glue, Pineapple Express, and most impressively (for medical reasons) their high CBD Mango Haze that I've found rivals Harlequin in its usefulness against chemo and all things related to being sick from pain, to nausea, to appetite stimulation.
I'm sure I'll be returning to this area from time to time and there is no other shop that I'd even think about going to at least in Beaverton. Many places have top shelf product, or a clean, professional storefront, or super friendly people, or people who are willing to help in a way that is beyond normal friendliness and really show they care about their customers and patients; Blooming Deals has all of this under one roof. Do your self a favor and drop by this shop and have a wonderful experience. If you're like me and want more than just a bag of herb but a nice place to visit from time to time with great people and product that knocks then this is your place!
I miss the crew and the people that really helped me (you know who you are). I hope to hear from or see them again soon. These people really were that different from all the other places I've been. Thanks so much to the Blooming Deals team. How's the orchid, by the way? ;)
This is, by far, one of my favorite medicinal strains. I prefer this as there is a complimentary THC content and effect that I find helpful as opposed to purely CBD strains. This works great for relaxing and elevating the mood, as well as decreasing pain and nausea (I've even noticed it help with my neuropathy symptoms from chemo). Mix it with some Sour Diesel (not enough to kill the CBD effects), vape away, and its my 'morning coffee' when on chemo.
(Tried to review this previously but accidentally submitted it before I was done, so this is in case they post the review that makes little sense)
This is not the fanciest of MMJ locations; they carry limited products beyond flowers, of which the typically have 8-15 consistent strains. However, and this is a BIG 'however': their flower consistency and quality is impressive and delivers reliably. I've been to many MMJ dispensaries in Seattle (clearly not all) and Safe Access provides a easy, inviting experience with quality product that is competitive not just for West Seattle (likely the best unless you get lucky at the market) but for all the others I've been too in greater Seattle . Especially because after they get to know you they are extremely nice, competitively priced, willing to cut deals, and provide samples when they are in a good mood (which is usually). Their Blue Dream, Sour Diesel, and Jack Skellington are must try's from here. Only request: updated website and/or menus and specials info posted somewhere would be great.
Blue dream is one of my absolute favorite strains hands down, for all its attributes. For me it produces a nicely balanced high including increased euphoria, happiness, or contentment. It also is very effective at pain and nausea relief without being overly sedating, while remaining relaxing. As a medical patient having tried many strains, Blue Dream is on my short 'to grow' list; this is how much easy access I want to this strain. Daily driver, for sure. Perfect for almost anytime and malleable enough for the high to confirm the/most situation(s), whether you're binge-watching Netflix, going out, needing to have a more tolerable dinner with parents...it has fit and delivered most situations I've thrown at it.
This strain seems very effective for what it is supposed to do: deliver reliable pain and nausea relief while adding a relaxing feeling that is not intimidatingly intense. Good strain at anytime of the day, alone or to mix with other strains. Which brings me to my 3-star rating: although delivering exactly what it is supposed to I prefer other high CBD strain, specifically Harliquin, and hybrids that deliver the same medicinal benefits with more potent positive psychoactive affects (such as statins that deliver better energetic or more expansive relaxed states effects . Otherwise, this strain would do well for those who wish to medicate without feeling significantly altered.
