A wonderfully cerebral high, Tropicana Cookies aims for maximum effect in the sativa checklist; energetic? Yes. Euphoric? Yup. Creative? Oh you bet! I consider this strain a true sativa staple, one that should be right next to Jack Herer and Sour Diesel. A new strain for the new generation...

Holy shit. This strain is absolutely insane. For months now, I’ve been trying to find a good sativa strain that not only keeps me energized, but also includes benefits for focus and problem solving, as well as creativity. It’s a strong head high first and foremost, but as it fades out it turns into a rather pleasant body buzz. It works perfect if you’re cleaning your living space or your bedroom, but that’s just my personal preference. If you’re looking for a nice sociable strain, or one that will kick your ass into high gear, then Durban Poison is the one for you. Can’t wait to get my hands on this one again.

True OG begins its course by a wonderfully chill head high. It was similar to a Sativa in the feeling, but instead of a hyperactive spirit, it was a mellow indica one. Then your body high kicks in. With an absolutely sensational body high, True OG showcases its intense effects; and they’re fucking fantastic. Have some Dr. Pepper and Kit Kat’s by your side during this strain. Good for calming down and chilling with the bros.

Sour Diesel is a classic. I, for one, have been trying to secure a classic for my collection. So when it came my way, you know I had to dive right into it. I recently acquired a dugout for my weed smoking purposes. It made sense- I don’t like taking big doses of THC all at once, if anything I would rather have something similar to a shot of a drink, which is the case to a one hitter. It was about a cold fall evening on which I smoked this strain; when the lighter hit the weed and sent the smoke (and slight resin from previous hits) down to my lungs, I started to feel warm inside. The flower had hit just right. Not soon after this I found myself playing some Fortnite on the television, soon after watching a film on Netflix. Munchies do take hold with this one, so stay cautious- I found too many boxes from the pizza parlor next to my trash bin. But no matter! What is the high like? It’s comparable to being a sun but with a smiling face on it. You feel warm, comfortable and especially happy. The head high feels like you’re submerging your body into the warmest water. Not hot, but warm. The munchies make you needy. And at the end of it all, a warm and numbing sensation lowers you into a deep sleep. Now that’s a classic weed strain.

Gelato has a really nice taste; the first marijuana strain I’ve had where I can taste the fruitiness of it. Mm. This high takes you instantaneously, slowing time down but also speeding it up, bringing you into a comfortable middle zone. A intense, toe curling cerebral high takes over after the entourage effects, keeping you in one spot for long amounts of time. Dominos has never tasted so good. The come down is especially nice, gliding you back down to Earth safe and sound. I expect myself coming back to Gelato; in the very near future.

Amazing strain for sleep/sleep related activities. Took about half a joint of it. Smoke tasted a little dirty but that was to be expected. In about 15-20 minutes after sparking up, the effects came in; a warm glow filling my face, then slowly filling my entire body. I felt warm and cozy, and definitely safe. Watched a film for about an hour before drifting off into a good night’s rest. Wonderful stuff.

This strain was pretty good. High hits almost instantaneously but mellows off too quickly in my opinion. Maybe if I had this in it’s flower form then it would stay longer?

Probably my favorite, hands fucking down. The euphoria in this strain hits you like waves; each one with a different texture. Then immediately coming down you feel absolutely connected and in tune with the world. Definitely a body high with hints of cerebral high interlaced.

Rolled one up at my apartment balcony and smoked it halfway; my asthma prevents me from doing a whole joint. Effects came on in less than 10 minutes. It was golden hour when it hit and it was absolutely fantastic. I felt warm and fuzzy; when I got back into the apartment, I was still fuzzy and the temperature change wasn’t bothersome. Spent a good hour and a half watching Gordon Ramsay videos, craving food and laying in sheer euphoria. Sleep soon took over and I had a well rested night. Highly recommend if you wanna feel good!
