Nature's Medicines - Happy Valley (Med/Rec)

5/11/2019
This place used to be the best; it had the best AND affordable bottom shelf flower, along with low dosage THC/Med dosage CBD flower that was extremely effective for pain, inflammation, and insomnia relief (as you'd demand from a "medical" shop). Now, they have ridiculously overpriced "top shelf" flower, and if you want anything at a reasonable THC dosage then you have to go for the popcorn buds. No more CBD flower at all! Basically, the place has turned into a rec shop that masquerades as a "medical" dispensary. The only product worth going here for is their homemade cartridges, but they are pricey for what they are unless you catch them on special. Just drop the price DR; you'll still make a ridiculous profit and have plenty to put back into capital! Lastly, as mentioned by another patient, the receipt is anything but easy to decipher! And the way it's broken up is different nearly every visit! Seriously, it seems intentionally difficult. They are required by the state to tax the product regardless of a "tax free morning" deal, so they must put that on the receipt. You should be seeing a discount equal to the taxable amount, but again, you will have to call your accountant to make sense of the receipt lol! I've been going here since they opened, and the store has done a complete turnaround in that time. Nearly EVERY other shop in the valley can beat the "deals" INCLUDING the popcorn buds and "tax free mornings." Not a flashy shop, which is actually one of the only great holdovers from when this was the best shop around (I don't need to peruse a menu on a iPad). It's better to keep cost down that way, BUT then why are your prices going up?

This seems to be one of those hit or miss places for flower. Lots of folks seem to think it's the "best" but my experiences with flower quality at this place has been below average for the Valley.

Great daytime strain as long as you pace yourself. I prefer something a bit less prone to exacerbating social anxiety if I'm going to end up out in the world, but if I want to get creative or just relax at the house, Gth is always a good choice IMO.

Heady and delicious without being overpowering. Another really great mid-shelf type that won't knock you out.

I'd been hearing about this strain for quite some time but hadn't ever tried it due to my not being a fan of Big Bud (I still haven't seen The Sopranos either). Anyway, when my favorite shop had it in, I thought it was a good time to be bold and it paid off! The flavor was distinctly grape and it quickly became my go to for a sleep aid and late evening pain relief.

It truly is bad ass. Quite potent, but uplifting and definitely good for the creative minds. It had dense buds for a Sativa, and even a bit of a sweet taste in the vape.

GSC

Flavorful, and potent; most variations of Gsc still have that distinctive "cookie" flavor profile. All the Gsc flower I've had has been high THC %s, and highly effective in alleviating pain. It's also gaining celebrity status as fast as Blue Dream.
