Oregon Weedery

Easy to find off NW 23rd. Does have one flight of stairs so not wheel-chair accessible. Compact reception area with chairs (yeah!). Super budtender, Chris, knew mj strains and best pain control herb so got A-1 personal service. With the excellent flower - bought 4 strains. Area is clean; budtender uses tongs so bud is clean. Will return in future.

Nectar - Mississippi

We are return customers so extra stars if we could. This location is great with easy parking. Only downside, IMO, is steps at the entrance won't work for folks in wheel-chairs. Once inside, everyone is pleasant and helpful. The excellent flower selection has a variety of phenotypes including some interesting CBD varieties too. Budtenders are clean and use gloves or chopsticks to handle bud. Would recommend to others for sure.

Grimace

Graded well on appearance, taste, and smell so three stars there. I bought this to relieve difficult neuropathic pain where other Indicas fail. But Grimace is very effective so there's the final two stars for effect - a perfect 5 stars! Used it in the evening so sleep was welcome. Would recommend to a friend with warnings about sedation/couch-lock. Would definitely purchase Grimace strain in the future.

Black Betty

Top-shelf Cannabis that grades well on appearance, smell, and taste so three stars for that. Was recommended to me for neuropathic pain and failed there so zero stars for medical effect that user sought. On the other hand, it seems good for nausea and poor appetite - add a half star. Would recommend it to a friend who had nausea and appetite issues but it's not that good for pain - at least severe pain. I have no plans to purchase Black Betty in the future.

Harle-Tsu

Major failure at neuropathic pain that a high THC % variety like Grape Ape or similar suppresses. IMO, the attractiveness of Harle-Tsu lies not in its effectiveness; but the lower incidence of anxiety-inducing "head buzz". H-T leaves a residual mild body "stoney" high that relieves mild pain. The head seems neutral or relaxed. With less head buzz, H-T may help those who don't tolerate THC dominant strains or those new to cannabis or those who don't use regularly. To note is that one can mix H-T with high THC weed to promote desired qualities. A mix may allow some who thought they were intolerant to high THC weed to try a mix for more severe pain. My experience is this. If one is sick enough to see a pain specialist regularly or has gone through Neurontin and Lyrica prescriptions while trying to avoid opioids, then Harle-Tsu alone will not be potent enough. Higher THC% Cannabis is simply more effective. Since Harle-Tsu flunked my pain test but may rate as a mix, I can only give it one star total. It is interesting for the experience, but I will not purchase it again.
