It's that time again for my monthly visit to Swell Farmacy! I drive all the way from Lake Havasu to shop at Swell. Best meds at the best prices!

When I go into a smoke shop to donate hundreds of dollars on medicine, that I truly cannot afford, but need desperately for my chronic pain. I expect to be treated well by a friendly and helpful representative of the establishment. If you want my money, this is what I want from you, besides good medicine. Capisce? The guy that took care of me was far from friendly and no help at all. When I asked about the Specials posted on Leafly he just pointed at the blackboard behind him. When I said that I didn't see the advertised Mucho Mango Special, he just grunted "we're out of that". When I finally made a choice to get 10 grams of GDP, he crammed the buds into a container that was clearly too small for that much bud. He put on a glove so he could mash the buds down and pack it in tightly! This is NOT the proper way of handling expensive buds! This place is difficult to find too, poor signage, only the letters AMG on their door. I had to ask people that were barbecuing in the parking lot where it was. The looks of their front door is also disconcerting, seeing so many locks on the door make you feel like you might be robbed when leaving the place. Nothing on the door telling you to Come inside, I knocked on the door several times before looking in through the mail slot and seeing people waiting inside. This place makes me feel uncomfortable. I have not even tried the GDP yet, but from everything I mentioned above, I will not be returning to this shop! This was my first and only visit.

This was my first foray into the legal Medical Marijuana dispensaries here in Arizona. I had been illegally growing my own strains for the past 20 years. I have a spinal cord injury that prevents me from working. If it were not for MJ, I would be taking some serious narcotics for my pain and muscle spasms. Those meds are so debilitating, they make you want to sleep all the time, sleep may not be the correct term, maybe comatose is a better description. On my first visit to a dispensary I picked out 4 strains and Big Wreck was the first I tried from that purchase. I was kind of disappointed with Big Wreck. I began to worry that legally obtained weed was not up to the same levels as my own hydro. I was relieved when I tried the other strains and was happy with their potency. But, Big Wreck was a big waste of my money. It barely felt like I had smoked anything.

By far my favorite strain. Goodbye Blackberry Kush. Hello Blue Dream! It puts me in such a good mood, I always have a big smile on my face after smoking Blue Dream. The strain does seem to vary though from shop to shop. The second time I got it from a different shop and the effects seem a little more intense and quicker. The first shop I got it from it's effects seemed to sneak up on you, while the second was more in your face, right away.
