In my search to replace a medical marijuana product that I have used for some years, but which is going away. I've heard (Doctor Terpene "Relief"), I was told by an informed budtender at the Weedery about Luminous Botanical's Meadow product.
I was attracted to his recommendation because Meadow is a full-spectrum product, which is similar to the product I have been using. My own experience and research revealed that to receive the maximum benefit for pain and inflammation reduction, you need not just a combination of THC and CBD, but also the other cannabinoids and terpenes found in a normal pot plant. This leads to an effect called, "synergy.," i.e. all the cannabinoids and terpenes acting together in concert to provide maximum benefit.
So, I tried .8ml (1 eyedropper) of the Meadow product. And it worked! In fact, it worked real well! The next time I do it, I will try just .4ml. I found that .8ml gave me an extremely pleasant buzz, which is nice, but most of the time, I just need it for pain during the day and don't want or need to be stoned, per se, so .4ml should be just the ticket.
A great product, I will be buying more!
And with my medical card and veteran status, it is even more cost-effective than the Doctor Terpene has been. A nice added bonus!
I think I've left a review of the Weedery previously, but my most recent experience was so nice, I felt compelled to leave another.
I'd like to give a special shout-out to Kenny, who gave me a recommendation for a product to replace one I've been using for some years, but which is not going away. I have been using Doctor Terpene Relief (formerly Pain) medication and have enjoyed it immensely. It is a 1:1 product and great for arthritic pain. But I heard recently that it is being retired, perhaps because they already have another 1:1 product. In any event, I was in a quandary over finding a replacement, when Kenny, a Weeder budtender, suggested a tincture product from Luminous Botanicals. It is called Meadow and is a 1:1 tincture. Better yet, it is a "full-spectrum" product, which should be far superior for pain than any isolate product. Sure enough, I tried it and it works great! And when you consider the price, given my medical card and veteran status, I'll get more bang for my buck with the tincture than with the Relief product, which is very nice. So, thank you, Kenny!

I have visited Stone Age several times now over the past year. Each visit has left me satisfied and happy!
What I generally want in a dispensary is (not necessarily in any order): friendliness, quality product, expertise, and affordable prices. Stone Age rates an A+ in every category and that's not easy to do!
They are now my go-to dispensary! Pay them a visit, you won't be sorry!
• Seeking relief for: pain from Hallux Rigidus; general osteoarthritis (OA) aches and pains.
Background data:
I have been diagnosed with Hallux Rigidus, a malady affecting the big toe and is sometimes called “stiff toe”. In my case, according to my doctor, my hallux rigidus is due to the cartilage pad (that acts as a buffer between my right big toe and the rest of my foot) being flattened and thinned, due to arthritis, until it is barely visible in an x-ray. The result of this is my bones rub together in my foot which caused a reduction in my ability to hike (something I love to do) and generally, walking much slower than usual, all due to chronic pain emanating from my big toe. I’m also 66 and have osteoarthritis, resulting in aches and pains in my joints. While not severe, the aches are definitely something I have to contend with regularly and are unpleasant, to say the least.
Prior Treatment:
I have a medical prescription for Naproxin. Naproxin is the official drug name for the product most of us know as Aleve. Any Aleve you buy over the counter (OTC) will be a maximum of 250mg per dose. My Naproxin prescription is for 500mg per dose.
The search for a solution:
I have been concerned about the possible long-term effects of taking 1000mg of Naproxin every day. NSAIDs can affect your heart and stomach and cause bleeding issues, and I have a rather bad stomach already, I don’t need to make it any worse. So, I had heard and read a few things about medical marijuana and stories of people who have used marijuana to ease their pain and I decided I would try to find a product that could replace my Naproxin.
My results using Doctor Terpene:
For the past month, I have been taking 1 Doctor Terpene pain pill per day and have been able to completely stop using my Naproxin prescription as a result! One Terpene pill per day has allowed me to essentially forget about the pain in my foot, about the equivalent (in my experience) to taking 1 OTC Aleve. While this was both surprising and great, I noticed that if I push myself, I can still get some pain in my foot (although it disappears when I stop pushing myself), which is exactly the case I found using 1 OTC Aleve and which caused me to eventually request a stronger Naproxin prescription from my doctor, because after 1 Naproxin there was NO pain, even if I stressed my foot. So, I wondered what would 2 Terpene pills do? I then tried it and found that 2 Doctor Terpene pain pills easily compared to 1 prescription Naproxin dose. To me, this was amazing!
Bottom Line:
Although I have smoked marijuana for 45 years, I admit to having been a medical marijuana skeptic in the past. Let me assure you, I am no longer a skeptic. I am now a believer! Granted, what I am sharing with you in this review is my own subjective experience, but I have now been using it long enough to know that my symptom relief is real. But, don’t take my word for it, try it yourself! I really believe that you won’t be sorry.
I am really pleased with this dispensary! I've been there several times and made several purchases. The bud tenders and greet staff are very helpful and friendly.
The products I have purchased (flower, oil cartridges, edibles) have all been top-shelf!
They are growing exponentially it seems, so I hope they can keep up their quality and grow at the same time.
I haven't had any kind of marijuana "edible" since the mid 1970's (a not-so-good pot brownie adventure). Thus, I was a bit wary, even skeptical, as to what I might experience when ingesting one of the new "modern" pot edibles. I wanted to avoid Indica "couch lock", and was happy to find out there is a all-Sativa edible made by WYLD called, "Blood Orange White Chocolate".
I'd heard the warnings about edibles - "Go slow! Take half! etc. So, of course, I ate a whole one. Yes, it is as delicious as it sounds and a whole chocolate was just right for me!
True to claims I've read about edibles in general, it took a good 2 hours for the effects to hit me to the point where I knew I was feeling something and not imagining it. But man, was it worth the wait!!
I think WYLD has somehow managed to capture the pure essence of Sativa and wrapped it in a blood orange white chocolate coating. No couch lock here!
Set and setting are always important for a first time drug experience and eating my first real edible was no different. Fortunately, I was in the woods, camping with friends, when I ingested it. Perfect! The wind was blowing, the trees were dancing against the sky, the smell of the forest and campfire were intoxicating, and my mind was taking off into orbit! I could not stop smiling if I had tried. The high continued to build as the evening progressed, but at a Goldie Locks rate of speed i.e., it was "just right".
I told my friends that if I knew someone who was new to marijuana and wanted to try it, I would definitely recommend eating a half of WYLD's Blood Orange White Chocolate with someone else who is experienced. The ride up is so smooth and so enjoyable, and then you stay high for hours! It would be the perfect intro to weed, for sure.
What a wonderful first edible experience! Thank you, WYLD!

Fade: 3 hours.
Strength: 9 out of 10 for first hour.

Paranoia: None
Physical Actions: Some dry mouth. Very relaxed. Both brain and body stoned.
Energy-level: Dreamy, trippy, mellow.
Pros: Great audial experience!
Cons: Munchies, have some around.
Notes: "What I would call a really "fine" weed! I felt the onset of effect on my first vape hit. 3 hits later and I was off to the races. What is really interesting is that although this is a pure sativa, it has a really wonderful Indica-like physical stone, too - without the couch-lock! It's what I'd call a complete stone, head to foot.
And the effects lasted a good 3 hours before I entered a slow and completely mellow descent. I'm looking forward to my next session! "
I dropped into the Oregon Bud Company after pizza. It's in a good location, I think. The staff person who waited on me was very pleasant and informative.
I do hope that they increase the menu over time, as it seemed limited compared to other pot shops I've visited.
Prices were okay, although they appeared higher than two of my other favorite shops. But the difference of a dollar or three doesn't seem that much when you have the convenience of just dropping in after a good lunch.
They didn't have the strain I was looking for (Green Crack), but I took the bud tender's advice and bought two strains I've never tried before (Trinity and Allen Wrench). I love sativa and these strains both reminded me as to why I do!
A nice shop and I hope they thrive!
Store: Human Collective II, Tigard
Strain: Pandora's Box
Hybrid: Sativa-dominant Hybrid
Grower: Local
THC Strength: 24.16%
# of hits: 4-5
Onset time: 1-2 minutes
Fade: 3.5 hours
Aroma Profile: Hard to say since I was using a vape.
Flavor Profile: Minty, grassy. If the color green has a flavor, this would be it. Pleasant.
Strength: 9 out of 10
Physical or Cerebral: Cerebral
Control: First hour is not one where I would want to be handling any heavy equipment! I just took a seat, sat back, and enjoyed the launch.
Emotions: Really euphoric.
Paranoia: None.
Social Interaction: I'd recommend not trying to play a game of Jeopardy with straight people for the first 1.5 hours.
Physical Actions: None to mention, very little dry mouth. I read this is due to using a vape. Maybe that's the case?
Energy-level: High energy. After the launch my mind was off to the races! I stayed up longer than usual due to this.
Pros: Everything about this strain was wonderful!
Cons: None.
Notes: Holy crap! What amazing weed! Pandora's Box is a trip! I didn't find all the evils of the world, instead I went on a wild ride through the peaks and valleys of my mind. The first hour was one big rush, the kind of rush that has you checking the clock occasionally and mumbling, "Holy crap!". The second hour was pure bliss. The third hour was a beautiful, mellow, high. The fourth hour was this wonderful, gradual descent followed by a warm mental hug. I look forward to more of this strain!
