I first got this prior to my vape coming in the mail, so I was smoking it from a bong at first. It's obviously great dispensary weed, but it was just so harsh that I wasn't enjoying the smoke and terpenes themselves. Then my Boundless Tera came, along with a longer bent glass stem for cooling. Now I can fully appreciate how unique and tasty this one is. It's a great sativa hybrid, stoney but energized and focused nonetheless, great for daytime though I was able to sleep easily after a bowl late at night.

MK Ultra caught my eye with the unique name and terpene profile, plus this batch tested around 28%, so I was willing to make the drive for an eighth. I was more than delighted by what I got. The buds are frosty, simultaneously fluffy and dense, bright green with lots of purple leaves and orange hairs. The smell is spicy and warm with citrus undertones. The high is strong and I prefer it while relaxing, but it's manageable if I smoke during the day, and overall is balanced between body and head. I've been using my bong and stone pipe which do the job well but I've been wanting to switch to vaping and reduce my combustion intake and I have a Boundless Tera plus a glass stem mod on the way; I'm saving a couple grams of this for when that arrives so I can *really* taste it.

I got this from Skymint Lansing on Saginaw St. as part of their collab with DNA Genetics - the price was a bit of a stretch at $70 an eighth but I have found that to some extent I've gotten what I've paid for when it comes to rec dispensaries across Michigan, so I sprung for it. This strain tested at 23.5% vs. the other options which were a few % higher, but the strain flavor and profile as a relaxed but energetic and clear-headed hybrid was right up my alley. The buds are soft and fluffy, plentiful and pale green bright with frost, and the smell does fit the name with a predilection for banana. I've enjoyed this in my stone pipe and in a bong; the pipe makes for an immensely pleasant smoke, though I like the potent hits I can pull with the bong. In both smoking media the flower tastes the way it smells, with the strawberry coming through a bit more now on the exhale. This is potent weed, but not a sleeper or a heavy stone for me (although two or more bong bowls would still knock me out). I've found it nice for being mentally active, ripping a bong bowl and then working on online classes perfectly focused or just knocking out household tasks. It's physically relaxing but as I've said it's still light and it would be nice to smoke out on a hike or during other activities. It's kind of a high that will respond to whichever direction you choose to go. I'm taking a tolerance break and saving a little over a gram for afterwards so I can more fully appreciate this fine plant.

Absolutely delicious and very pretty. I'd never had buds before that were such a pale mint green, and against the purple and all the trichomes the look was not far off from cookie dough. The chocolate and similar notes were well-balanced by vanilla that helped make this strain actually taste quite a bit like the real thing. Cherried excellently in my stone bowl and smoked white, left white ash. Definitely a potent high, not necessarily super active unless I was committed to it, like one day that I walked a few miles in the state park at the Silver Lake, MI sand dunes. Focused but not quite sativa-active mind and I spent a good bit of time chilling on the couch off this stuff, but again the body commitment comes in because if I decided to sit on the floor and straighten my spine I would be more awake and could work on projects. Very comfortable and pleasant high. My first ever dispo purchase - definitely different from what I'd had before and a little pricier than I was used to, but I went back for another eighth a few days later (stretched that one longer at least).
