This is quickly becoming my favorite Sativa in recent memory. There is something special about this one in regards to its effect on me personally. It lacks a lot of the body feeling and feels like a bud I can smoke a lot of. But when using a traditional one shot/dugout combo, I feel like I'm motivated and ready to produce on days I'm feeling a bit tired. If I use the Pax/flower combo, its only one shot (if its my first of the day). I am still trying to recall a Sativa that I use during daytime with such extended energy.

Just had the pleasure of a wonderful vape smoke of this KLP. Aromatic and slightly sweet... you can almost taste the crust. Which is hilarious that I like the scent/taste... I hate Key Lime and Pie and Key Lime Pie. So go figure. Thanks to E**#@)$( for this one. During our amazing game of billiards with a few other bud-dies.

I just finished up first semester of my junior year at university, so I believe this was about '01. My best bud-dy had found something amazing a little earlier than normal this year. Back then it was always solid connections, just not very many amazing trees. They only came around certain times of the year. But when the news came around about a strain that challenged for the Cannibis Cup recently? The frenzy was real. We dumped our collective groups money together on as much as we could. And, man, was it worth it. It had come from this wizard botanist who was planning on moving soon. So he brought out the heavy artillery for one final run before he rode off into the sunset. I remember our university had a hugely successful run of the play Arsenic and Old Lace. An oldie, but made to film back in the 40's, and a classic. The cast and I got absolutely blazed for one of the last shows. And other than my suit catching on fire by accident? The show was a hit and our best ovation out of the 5 shows. We had the record for highest attendance of a theater production for a while. I'm not sure if it is still the record. But PP also got a whole bunch from the audience high... we wound up partying with loads of them after the show. It was quite a production.

This strain has a special significance in my life. It is one of only a dozen or so strains that have traveled long distances abroad before ever really being used even once. But that is not really the story behind this particular strain. As I put it into the context of my favorite strains from this Particular time period. Let us (from now on) call this particular time period...hmm... the Black Tapes. So (stay with me here) I consider this one of my go to favorites of the Black Tapes period. We all used it in a Pax first gen. And it was one of the first two strains to be finished during the Black Tapes period. This was an especially unusual situation since we had an amazing selection to be used in a short period of time. So saving was not an option. The sheer volume that we tried to tackle? Was not likely possible to the extent that you could function. We tried to toe the line when going out to get nuts. But then we definitely pulled out all the stops for the end of the night. And barely made a dent.

IT was around 99. We are all at a table in a real nice town home complex in the northeastern US. The table has a random collection of items. Taboo the board game, a metal bowl, some nachos and dipping sauce, some playing cards, old Nextel phones we all used for 2 way, a few PS1 controllers, a dugout and its one hitter, a grinder, utensils, and (most importantly) Northern Lights #5. Now, please forgive me for not understanding the gravity of my situation at the time. This would be something I would not see again for almost 13 years. And if I knew then what I know now? I would have not been so well known for sharing. So here is the kicker, and if you have stayed with me this long for this particular review in a sea of reviews? Here is your payoff. . . . the table included my best friend of course, and two more later. But we had a playboy playmate (not then, it happened a year or so later) whom we ALL wanted to get with. . . she was sort of renowned in High School. And her dad played major league baseball. As in the ML-CURSEWORD-B. . . . Also at that table? A super young high school grad who could have went pro and was coached by said playmates father if he didn't mess up his chances in college. Man the things you remember when someone mentions something that triggers your memory. We had one of the most memorable night as friends. It was all you could ask for in a conducive environment. So I came here to say thanks to Fr*%%& for getting that for us from your cousin in the city. That was a memorable time in my life.
