This Alaskan Thunder Fucked my mind. The beautiful buds were pungent and radiated that beautiful forest green with dark highlights. The smell feels like walking through a pine forest in Nor Cal after a rain. It'll leave you feeling euphoric, nostalgic, energetic, and wanting to vibe to laid back tracks. This is definitely one of my favorite Sativas and will leave you with a heavy case of the munchies so keep snacks available. Pair this strain easily with a solo session, vibing to music with folks, or being out in nature. You'll feel energized and ready to explore - whether that's nature or beats.

Got recommended this strain by my budtender and damn this one of my favorite indicas. While not classified as a hybrid, this thing has the focus and euphoria of a Sativa and the pain relief, relaxation and, if you smoke enough, that deep sleep it sets you into. This indica didn't leave me feeling too in my head but it will leave you feeling mellow and chilled out. This is great for personal use to really chill out and is perfect before hopping in the bathtub. Do yourself a favor. Get a lush bath bomb, pack/roll up some Blueberry and your body will thank you.

First and foremost, Emerald OG smells like heaven. When I first got a hold of this strain I was floored with the smell. The first thing you'll notice is the citrus that, at least for me, was the dominant scent emanating from this strain. The earthy undertones really give this a sweet and aromatic flavor. Indicas are my personal favorite ways to medicate for my own depression/anxiety. The bud itself is absolutely beautiful with beautiful green notes and orange hairs. When broken up, the citrus flavors absolutely pop and this thing was STICKY and dense. I chose to vaporize the Emerald OG and the citrus comes through beautifully through the vapor and I didn't notice any of the earthy notes you normally associate with cannabis. The high itself was definitely couch locking and is perfect before you head off to bed. Something to note is that it can flare up some anxiety so be careful if you are prone to anxiety to start small before you head up. This strain was different from other indicas in that, while I was couch locked, I felt a deep relaxation that made me feel more meditative and introspective. Indicas are my personal flower of choice for mindfulness and this strain holds you closely in that journey. This flower is definitely more for personal use rather than social settings otherwise you'll be sitting there anti social as hell. Do yourself a favor, if you're a lover of indicas, try out Emerald OG. That OG flavor comes through beautifully and Emerald OG is award winning for a reason.

In the Inland Empire, dispensaries are few and far between considering many cities are lagging behind in creating a more tolerant and embracing culture of cannabis. Captain Jacks stands out as one of the best in the IE hands down. While I currently reside in the Bay and have most of my experience of dispensaries related to Nor Cal, Captain Jacks stands out as a community oriented model that more dispensaries in the Bay Area and others in the IE and LA should move towards. You'd be forgiven for assuming you're actually at a strip club and not a dispensary but don't let their neighbors fool you, Captain Jacks invites you with in with an unassuming green light. While security was more introverted than what I'm used to, everyone inside was beyond friendly. It was PACKED, even so, the wait time wasn't something I was too worried about. While waiting in line, we were checked in with and made sure we left feeling happy. The interior isn't the most flashy or aesthetically minded locations but it doesn't matter; it's the feel that reels you in. The dab bar (which I have yet to try) is familiar to a bar you'd stumble in on with the dab-tender (vape tender?) chatting away with customers. The location feels relaxed and I don't think I've been to quite as many inviting locations as this. My own bud tender was quiet, like myself, but very helpful and patient with my own needs. While there are an array of options, I always look towards the CBD options that really display to you if the location is in it just for the leisure consumer or if they also cater to a diverse array of medicinal needs. The flower isn't the cheapest but it is quality and they have quite a few deals to make it easier on the wallet. I walked away spending less than I thought I would for quality product and an extremely pleasant experience. The flower itself that was recommended to me (Emerald OG) was extremely aromatic and left me feeling floored. They definitely are intentional in their quality. If you're in the IE, passing through, or want to make the commute out, it's well worth it. Especially if you want to go with another patient and check out the dab/vape bar. I'll definitely be making Captain Jacks a regular visit whenever I come through the IE.

THC is hands down my favorite dispensary location in Oakland. I've been to nearly every dispensary in Oakland and THC has the highest quality cannabis and cannabis products, a beautiful location, great parking, great prices, and a wonderful staff. I've always had issues with other places feeling too cramped or the service was off or the lines were just too long. Everything goes by quick here but the budtenders answer any and every question you might have or refer to someone who knows the answers. It is the friendliest dispensary and I would say the best dispensary in Oakland!

Fast service, extremely accommodating, quick and easy communication and amazing products. I ordered some edibles and Platinum Girl Scout Cookies and everything came perfectly with a friendly delivery driver. Absolutely love the cannabis and it's top notch quality at amazing prices for the 1/8ths. The medibles were delicious and fresh. I'd recommend this to anyone and they even have a loyalty program! Some delivery services take hella long or you need to do it before a certain time of the day but they take orders much later and get them to you on time! I'll definitely be ordering from Yerba more in the future.

Beautiful, serene high. I primarily use cannabis for stress relief and to relieve depression. This really hit both of those perfectly and left my body feeling rejuvenated and I was definitely awake thanks to the sativa strands it comes from. This isn't the best for sleeping but if you want to be awake and melt away the stress and play some video games or just watch hilarious videos this is perfect for you. This has a nice earthy taste that is smooth and smells dank. There is a slight aftereffect of paranoia but it's minor and drains away with a calm setting.
