Quality: 1 star. Non-prepackaged products are consistently underweight by 4-5%. Service: 2 stars. First, staff was OK. Second, store does not accept DEBIT cards, but they are more than happy to point you to their ATM which of course there is a fee to use. Third, my order was incorrectly fulfilled. Did not realize this until out the door, and of course, theres no returns once you leave. Incorrectly fulfilled orders, and especially underweight non-prepackaged products is enough for me to write this location off permanently and warn others to avoid this location as well.

Black Afghan

A 100% Indica that leans more to the mild side of the spectrum. Highlights of the experience with Black Afghani: Low and mild body vibes at onset with a sense of grounding. Mind calming at lower doses and early into the experience, but gives way to a very dreamy state where deep, and even profound thoughts can occur. The stone is pleasant but mild. During the peak of the experience, if the dose is high enough rising sensations can be felt for a short time, but they dissipate rather quickly. The come down on this one is very easy without any negative side effects like some other strains can produce. The feeling after having come down from this Cannabis strain is one of having just taken a small nap. Imbibed at night it can cause one to become somewhat more sleepy than they normally would at that time, but Black Afghani is not by any means a knockout Indica from my experiences with it. Black Afghani smokes hot, but not harsh. Can induce ravenous hunger that is impossible to sate. This is what I dislike the most about this strain, but for those who need an appetite boost, Black Afghani's ability to do that is one of the strongest Ive felt. The smell of the buds is one I can best describe as Copal like with notes of pine. It is a sweet and soft scent which is probably the best bud smell I have so far experienced. When crushed, there is a citrus scent that becomes apparent. The taste is somewhat piney. I give this strain a solid B rating. I prefer heavier, deeply stony Indicas personally, but I have found no other strong negatives with this strain aside from its propensity to smoke hot, and its induction of ravenous, insatiable hunger. Otherwise though, Black Afghani is an excellent winding down strain at the end of the day that will neither knock you out, nor blast you into space, but allow you to both either stay lucid and chill out, or close your eyes, relax, and drift on gentle waves until you are ready to hit the sack.

Hennessy OG

This was a very spacey strain in which I felt quite mentally scattered, which I did not find pleasant. Hennessy OG gives a mild and buzzy body high, but it is short lived. Mildly euphoric early on, but tends to turn into a spacey-ness where time seems to move much, much faster. Somewhat amnesiac; not a strain for tasks that require your full attention or cognitive abilities. Unfocused, not for creative works either. Hennessy OG could be a good strain for getting into a rythm, and doing repetitive tasks for long periods of times. No deep thoughts with this strain, just a drone-like mind space thatll have you forget what you are doing.

First time visit on 9/4/2020, sat down with John and had a pleasant and rewarding experience with excellent service. Pre-roll prices pretty high relative to other MD dispensaries. Will shop at again.

Purple Punch

A heavy body high, definitely a 'stone' strain. Mentally sedating as well as physically sedating. Dulling, blunting, strong earthy feeling, solidly grounding yet simultaneously a sense of drifting. A care-free mindset sets in, becoming highly present and rooted in the now. I had a good sense of time on this strain, unlike more heady strains where my time sense can become wildly skewed. Even though I felt sedated, I felt more strongly aware of the five senses, more vigilant but with a fully integrated calm attendant with that vigilance. Gravity pulls me down into a restful passiveness; a heavy, surrounding, engulfing, Indica embrace. A zen mind state can creep in, emptying the cares and worries of the day from the mind and releasing them into the ether for the time being. Interestingly, if I wanted to concentrate on something external, it was not very hard to do. Concentrating on the internal though, was more difficult. Moderate vertigo accompanied this strain for me (not unlike alcohol), with dry mouth. Non-euphoric (but not dysphoric), non-dreamy, non-hungry, somewhat anti-arousing. The overall sense I get from this, is that Purple Punch is a very primal, earthy strain. Primal feels very applicable when describing this strain. I felt more connected to my body, and less stuck in my head with worries and fears from the everyday world. It felt like going back ten millennia into the (from our perspective) deep past, and just being able to live without civilizations endless nagging worries. This is a great strain to decompress with, and just let it all go for a while and dive deep into rejuvenation, and then come up refreshed. Harsh smoke. Unlit, smells pleasantly fruity/sweet with a minor skunky musk, and maybe a slight hoppy scent to it.

Gentle body high. Slightly better ability to imagine things in the minds eye. Mildly relaxing, and easier to open up with and let go of tension. Almost no psychedelic effects at all, but the keen observer may notice a tiny bit with eyes closed in the dark, relaxing. Calm body feeling, with a calm energy accompanying it. Little to no sleepiness initially, but the sleepiness creeps up later with a pleasant desire to relax more deeply and focus inward. Two things I wasnt expecting but was glad to notice, was a noticeably large reduction in ADHD and OCD symptoms. Concentration on what I wanted to concentrate on was much easier than normal. This is also a great strain for energy work, visualizing, and more active meditations. Unlit, smells like dried grass clippings with some ammonia. Very slight lemony scent, almost undetectable.

This powerful CBD strain did not work as effectively on me as I wanted it to. I did feel physically calm, with a sense of internal calm as well, and mildly sedated. Slightly anxiolytic. This was pretty much all I felt. Muscle tension did not seem to release as much as I wanted it to. It does feel anti-inflammatory. It has a strong, almost sickly sweet smell unlit, but is not unpleasant. No head high at all, which isnt to be expected from this strain anyway.
