American Dream

1/10/2016
The sensation you get after hitting American Dream... can only be compared to the feeling of taking your first step onto Ellis Island while gazing up at the Statue of Liberty’s wondrous bosom after completing your long journey across the Atlantic to escape your war-torn homeland. And that sensation my friends... is greatness.

Lemon Haze

Lemon Haze is one of my go to driving buds. Keeps you awake, alert, and focused, while at the same time able to be easily lost in deep thoughts… Great for doing minuscule tasks like cleaning or other mindless activities, makes it fun and easy to have pleasant thoughts while keeping a constant smile on your face. Also talking to strangers doesn't bring much paranoia with this strain. This contains the perfect level of sativa - not too overwhelming to give you anxiety like Sour Diesel can do, and not too uplifting where you can't relax like Green Crack does to some people.

Hemphill Wellness Center

Doesn't have a very homey feel to it when it comes to the actual transactions. The budtenders were friendly but this place runs things very strictly and "by the book". Don't expect them to hook you up and become your friend if you go there all the time - you're just another paying customer. This is a shame as most the dispensaries my friends, family, and I regularly visit acknowledge our continued service and reward it from time to time with free prerolls & edibles, discounts, etc... and just other buddy-buddy things. Hemphill relies on their cold computer system for everything, so don't waste your time establishing a business relationship here expecting that some day you'll ever be more than just a random 'nobody' walking in. Hemphill is a very professional business and not a kind caring 'mom and pop' type establishment, so keep that in mind when choosing your usual place. Expensive place, but the bud is good. It's lab tested even for (as they claim) pesticides and other unwanted chemicals. They also accept debit/credit cards. Oh and the waiting lobby is nice and has some free snacks/coffee. I might come back if I'm ever in the area during happy hour, but that's about the only reason I'd choose Hemphill over other dispensaries.
