Goji OG
2/9/2024
I have been cultivating, and medicating with Goji for a few years now, and she will always have a special place in my heart. If you’re an Indica lover, or someone who generally doesn’t like to move a lot after smoking then I would say this steer clear. This Sativa hybrid, Goji Og, in even higher doses (I would say), is still very much for someone who wants to get a task done, create music or art, go outdoors for some time with nature or any active, upbeat task that makes things enjoyable.
Effects: You feel relief from stress, depression, anxiety, pretty instantly within a good 30secs to a min. Takes a good 20-30 mins for the heavier/heavier effects to kick in..once they do though, visuals are more stimulating and satisfying (can feel trippy psychoactive for sure in heavy doses such as multiple bong rips or especially used in the making of edibles), music sounds more sonically pleasing and more enjoyable as well. Overall, very happy uplifting effects that make for a great day for getting things done. 5/5
Smell: I have the Pine Soul Og pheno of Goji Og and absolutely love it, very sweet pine flavor much like pinesol, the lemon pine scented cleaner the pheno is named after but with less lemon, citrus note and more pine/pinesap woodsy fresh smell to her. This is just what’s up front on the palate after a few seconds after the exhale..then, on the backend you get wonderful berry notes (prolly why they named the strain Goji because it’s similarity to the sweet and tarty Goji berry itself found mostly in Nepal in the Himalayan Mnts. Overall, very piney with sweet berry notes on the tail end making for a very pleasurable taste on the palate. 4.5/5
Structure: mostly pine cone shaped buds but depending on how it was grown, cropped, etc..can be more goofball looking nugs, personally I love the classic sativa structure and pine cone shaped it wants to grow into when naturally grown and not topped much. 5/5
Overall, this is a 4.7/5.0 for me and is top tier cannabis from one of the best in the game Bodhi Seeds (not too mention its one of his most beloved and arguably, best cultivar, he created and really rare these days).
