Green Lantern

Excellent strain. The effects are unique. Uplifting, relaxed, and energetic at the same time. The Ridgeline Farms Green Lantern won 🏆 the Emerald Cup 🥤 a few years ago. Looking at the old photos and reviews on Leafly I think the Ridgeline strain is different. The flowers have very swollen calyxes/pods that are covered on large sparkling trichomes. The trichome/frost to plant matter ratio is off the hook 🪝. This bud is frosty! Very stony with that classic OG feeling. Does the trick every time. The herb I'm smoking is either light deprivation green house weed or full term green house. It wasn't grown indoors. The effects are long lasting without the crash and lethargic feeling some strains hive you. The flower structure outside is not solid. This is good for mold, but not as desirable of a look as the current cookie type crosses. The high is right up there with the best indoor. This herb tested at 29.85%. Super potent. I live in Humboldt County and have grown weed for over 30 years and I'm telling you this strain is legit fire 🔥 The smoke is smooth with a forest pine, sage, and a hint of menthol. It's unique in every way. The calyx to trichome ratio is like an old school indica. The is also unique compared to the recent varieties being grown. I asked Ridgeline about the genetics and they disagreed about the green Crack x rhino cross. Gellman said it was an OG cross. The variety I'm smoking definitely looks like the real OG. The first variety that had the swollen calyxes. The difference is the smell. If you've ever seen the fire 🔥 real OG from back in the day and that's the weed you like to smoke you'll love the Green Lantern!

Orange Tree

I tried concentrate from Green Line who say they created the strain. They're out of Monterey and the price was very low. Since Monterey has large cultivation facilities and Green Line grows hydroponically they can sell quality cannabis at a better price point. First was the color. The badder concentrate had an orange color which is unusual for concentrates. It smelled like oranges with hints of lime and possibly grapefruit. The taste though was extremely bland which was shocking. I thought it would have a strong orange flavor. The badder didn't have the terpene! The effects are very stony which was also surprising since it said sativa on the package. They call it a sativa, but like the Leafly description says it hits like an indica. Very relaxing. Potent for the price point. A good product, especially at $15 a gram!
