Stopped by while in town for work, and was really happy with the whole experience! The budtender selected strains for me that I like better than the ones I picked for myself- she was awesome at reading what I liked & needed, and really friendly and knowledgeable, too. Great selection, all seemed really fresh, nice clean and pretty shop, class act all around.
Nice little shop! Easy to get to, good clean and simple decor, and a lovely friendly vibe from the staff.
The budtender was helpful and knowledgeable about the strains they offered, where they came from, and their qualities and uses. She was respectful of me as a medical user, and didn't make me feel rushed or ignored like at many of the local rec shops.
I really appreciate their focus on sun grown and organic flower, and each one I smelled was so different and expressed something unique. I took home three new strains, and I've only tried one so far (Swiss Tsunami), but it was excellent. Thanks for giving the area a classy and friendly option!
Our first couple visits here were ok, but we're very disappointed in our last two visits!
They have clearly moved their focus onto recreational, which leaves us medical users an afterthought, treated like a hassle by the staff.
Huge cases full of recreational flowers and products, and one tiny case for medical users. Even worse, their recreational side has several concentrates of high-CBD or CBD-only strains, which are more useful to those of us with medical needs, but I guess on the recreational side, they get more $$.
The last straw was two mis-labeled clones we bought. At the time we bought them, the budtender on duty was pretty clueless on our questions about flowers, clones, or anything, really. He wouldn't even let us pick our own clones from the tray of several available.
Anyway, we got a couple, which were tagged "LSD", which is a particular, specific strain. But, on their menu, they list it as "Lambs Breath/Sour Diesel cross" which is NOT the same as the LSD strain. Today, when I tried to get clarification on what exactly we bought, the budtender had no idea and didn't seem to care, so it's still a mystery.
Recreational buyers may not care what they are getting, and I'm sure you make more money off of them, so back to growing our own.
I've been having an awful bout of bursitis in my hip for almost a month now, and had tried quite a few strains and topicals with only some relief. Most that helped, I had to use so much that I was zonked & could only sleep afterwards.
Today, I remembered I had some Harle-Tsu left from an oil infusion I made for my elderly cat, and tried vaporizing it myself. Within minutes, the pain was gone, along with the depression that had been sitting on me since I was hurting so much!
For the first time in weeks, I can sit comfortably and get up and not hobble for the first 20 steps. I actually got some gardening done, and movement & stretching feel good and healing again. It's miraculous.
I saw the reviews that said the relief doesn't last that long. I took 2 puffs and the pain was instantly gone, but it started creeping back in about 30 minutes. I took a couple more, and then I was totally pain free for about 3 hours. I've been just taking a puff here and there to maintain today, and the worst it's gotten is just a bit of stiffness.
I've had no negative mental effects at all, I feel clear and bright, easily focusing on work and tasks, but more cheery than I've been in a while. So grateful for this!
We shopped here a while back, and it was ok, a bit seedy and uninspired, but we got some decent flower. Today, we drove the 45 minutes there to get some high-CBD strain for medical needs, seeing it listed on their menu.
We got there and had to wait quite a while, with recreational shoppers being served ahead of us, even though the checkin lady said we should be next since medical has priority.
By the time we got in, the strain we were after was on recreational only, at a higher price than it had been on medical. We asked about this, and were told that since they didn't have much left, they moved it over to recreational.
That just strikes me as purely greedy, trying to squeeze a few more dollars from the last of an important medical strain, just because it's scarce. The snotty budtender said that we shouldn't complain about that, because no one else in town has specials as cheap as them. We're not looking for a cheap high- we're looking for effective medicine- obviously they just don't get that.
