Granddaddy Purple reviews

I’ve heard about this strain many times but only recently had the chance to try it. I’ve got to say, as an experienced user, it made me feel mentally incapacitated. In an amazing way. I never get giggles but this had me laughing at nothing. Somehow it makes me super energetic but doesn’t keep me awake. Amazing, feels more like crack than weed.

I've smoked a lot of different strains. This strain though made me feel like a noob. One hit quit. It felt like the first time I've ever smoked, I was baked outta my brains. My new favorite.

A great strain to unwind and relax with. If you're planning on going to bed then this is a perfect strain for you.

I bought a quarter of this strain by the company Strane at Sunnyside Penn Ave. in Pittsburgh PA. Buds are purple and loaded with trichomes. I love how another reviewer compared this to GSC, but being more medical than recreational. Spot on with that comparison in my opinion. GDP is euphoric and extremely relaxing. It came in at 17.91% First time I had this strain was buying on the black market back in early 2010’s. It stands up to the rest of time.

I have depression and recently licensed to purchase medicinal. I am more likely to lean towards sativa's yet, I have severe insomnia. Indica's scared me a bit but the organization who helps me educates me so much and slowly leaned me into indica's knowing my condition(s) "Depression" is just easier to say without the details. I'm grateful to those who really want the help young people like myself, 40 is still young right? 😉 This is the highest Indica strain I have tried and Wow!; did I have indica's all wrong (for me). great for pain relief! it was a very relaxing high however I was not too couch locked. maybe it was the only taking a few hits at a time to adjust to it. still a fairly novice smoker, but I was able to do some organizing while on this strain. I also focused enough to do some writing which hasn't happened in a minute. not my favorite but I gotta say the pain relief is unmatched. the pain relief I felt the most pleased with was my upper back as I had a pulled something in my neck and back and shoulder. very long lasting buzz but I got a slight headache after.

I recommend this strain if you struggle with anxiety or have trouble relaxing. GDP is the ultimate relaxant and definitely my favourite.

Not a newbie by any means but got back into smoking about a year ago. I was an occasional smoker before and would smoke like once a month, if that. I started smoking in the evening to help with sleeping and smoked a vape for a year just to help conceal the smell from my kiddos. When I ran out of my vapes I decided try an indica base herb that really stepped up the experience and euphoria and I found that in Granddaddy Purple! At first, I could believe the smell that it produces! It has a sweet smell to it and I was super surprised on how it didn’t smell like a traditional herb. Again, my concern was more about concealing and it works prefect! The high sustains a lot longer than an indica vape and I instantly became a huge fan! I would highly recommend this to anyone that has issues with sleeping or insomnia! It really helps. I also own my own business and during the pandemic, my stress level was at an all time high! I usually only smoke during the evening but have lightly started smoking some in the day to help with stress. Now, if that can make a herb that helps with snoring, let me know! Hahaha..
